uh my first pride month
okay so i know it's been 14-15 days since pride but i forgot to share about it so here you go
First me and my parents went out to the city to go to a hotel because it was expected to have zero electricity at our place, and when we drive by a park i see people having a pride parade which made me really excited since i've never really seen one. Unfortunately my parents didn't like it since they're homophobic and stuff, but at the hotel's food thingy (forgot what you called it) there's even pride and rainbow decorations, i planned to take a picture but i was too busy exploring, besides we had to go to the hotel room immediately so that sucks
Anyways we went back to the food area for dinner since we were hungry. And lemme tell you it was so pretty, there was a pride flag in a jar, pride flags on the ceiling, and a rainbow arch thingy!! It was just basically super colorful, they even had pride cakes :0
i'm surprised at them because in my place they're almost all homophobic ๐
Yesterday I went to Warsaw Pride Parade and it was just WOW. Absolutely incredible.
Honestly I was so glued to the whole procession that i completely forgot to take photos, so these are just pics from web :D.
I've always wanted to experience a Pride Parade, and this was my very first one. Being there, meeting so many beautiful souls, and screaming my lungs out with the crowd made me so incredibly happy. My heart is just so full rn.
happy pride month!
this is my first official year celebrating as a participant rather than an ally! i had kept my identity a secret from my friends and family until last july iโd say, so itโs nice to be open and celebrate with everyone!
i am so happy and comfortable with my identity now, and it really is thanks to the selfship community, whom i am so grateful for! thank you for helping me feel confident enough to tell my loved ones i am fictorose (fictosexual and fictoromantic)! while i know it isnโt one of the โstandardโ sexualities celebrated during pride month, it still is meaningful to me, and iโm grateful to be here.
happy pride, everyone! ๐ค๐ฉถ๐๐ฉท๐๐ฉถ๐ค
I was on my first ever pride today. They're wanted to ban it in hungary.
Today more than 200 THOUSAND people were there to support the hungarian LGBTQ+ community and our right to assemble.
I finally can be proud to be a hungarian ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ญ๐บ
(so bad that even the introverts are here)
I can't believe that I was really there too๐ฅน

I am so grateful for the genuine affection that OFMD shows for little weirdos like me.
Not just:
Hey, love, be yourself, even when it's hard. You have value just as you are and there are people out there who will really appreciate your particular brand of weird.
But also:
Hey, love, be yourself. You can probably succeed at being somebody else, and it will make things easier for awhile, but that's it's own kind of cage and you deserve to be seen for who you really are. The right people will want to hang out with the real you.
Anyways I'm about to go to my first pride event and it's a little thing, but I'm going to wear the things that I really want to instead of trying to figure out what I'm "supposed" to wear.
Went to my first Pride today!!!
My church had a booth there along with other queer affirming churches & other religious organizations, various human rights groups, unions, leftist (and sadly still very fringe) political parties including the one I'm a member of, foreign embassies from countries with legalized gay marriage (hence the Canada flag lol), and shockingly (considering how conservative Korea is I mean) they even had some corpos there (although Google was the only "big" name there so I guess rainbow capitalism isn't very profitable in Korea yet ๐ )
I couldn't stay for the march 'cause I had a job thing I needed to go to, but I'm still very glad that I went!
