Big, relative infodump below!
Sedgestar- (he/him) white tom with gray and orange flecks and amber eyes. Experienced and thorough, he is a strong leader, but the tragedies he’s seen in all his years have slowed him down and made him fearful of his Clan’s future. He avoids conflict tentatively. His parents, Dawnlight and Sagebrook, were killed early in his life, leaving him often shaken by the notion of fighting. Despite this, he can be a calm and competent mediator between border disputes when it matters, though he patrols less now because his years have caught up with him. He often depends upon Thistlefrost on things pertaining to battle training and patrols. He has never taken a mate, and his clanmates speculate that he never will.
Thistlefrost- (he/him) dark gray and white tabby tom with yellow eyes. Often aloof and sharp, he doesn’t strike many as the deputy type, but Thistlefrost is a more than capable second-in-command. He’s half-blind in one eye, but he’s an excellent fighter, skilled and precise, and a proficient hunter. He can be brisk and verbally abrasive to those he deems “idiots”, but he doesn’t do harsh things without a purpose. He’s the brother of Crowpoppy and Nightfeather. He’s never taken a mate, and at the moment is to focused on his duties as deputy to do so.
Firpelt- (he/they) dark brown-red cat with amber eyes (my mistake, I’ll fix that later). Twitchy but considerate and gentle, he’s an efficient medicine cat and does his duties well. He enjoys talking with Houndlight and Needlepaw, his apprentice. He’s the half-brother of Amberhaze and Pinetuft, and enjoys chatting with his sisters. He feels no attraction towards the brutal battle and bloodlust he views in the life of a warrior, but likes being a medicine cat, comforting the injured and helping the sick.
Needlepaw- (she/her) gray she-cat with amber eyes. Bold and set on her opinions, she doesn’t meet the average traits of a medicine cat apprentice, but she serves her Clan just as well as anyone else, skilled in the knowledge of healing and herbs. Sole surviving daughter of Nightfeather and Paledusk’s litter. Her father, Perchdusk, and her two siblings, Thornkit and Bramblekit, are deceased, and the pandemic of greencough that caused their deaths was motivation for her choice to become a medicine cat. She’s not traumatized and is unscarred for now, and it would be a shaaaame if something bad were to happen later on… ;v; but more on that LATER ON!
Runningstream- (she/her) red, brown, and cream tabby she-cat with blue eyes. A diligent warrior, lean and agile, she’s the best rabbit-hunter in the Clan. Born to She’s gentle, affable, and a quick learner, and open to learning any new skill anyone has to tech her. She’s never officially taken a mate, but she enjoys the company of Liongorse and hopes to be a queen someday.
Houndlight- (he/him) dark brown and white tom with blue eyes. Stocky and brash, he’s a defensive warrior, but strong and devoted to his Clan. He’s the largest cat in the Clan, rivaling Sedgestar. He fights exceptionally and with strength, but isn’t as adept at hunting, as he’s so large that he tends to scare off smaller prey as he crashes through the undergrowth. He doesn’t have a mate, nor does he have the intention to, and is likely asexual.
