All the confidence skating with Midna had given her had evaporated like this ice would under a scorching blaze. For without the princess present it seemed she was just as bad, if not worse than when she’d first started. Yet she’d been foolhardy enough to don the skates and get onto the ice without really a second thought.
Foolish.
Upright she might be, and she was even moving! But herein lied the problem; she could not stop moving. She could barely turn and she didn’t know how to slow her momentum without falling over.
“Outta the way! I said move you pink pineco!”
But, she’d never been very good at raising her voice and she had no idea if the one she was heading for even noticed.
