Keeping up with the on-the-ground nastiness in California via two maps.

California Power Outages Map - the darker the color, the more the power is shut-off

Sonoma County Incident Map - Bright red is active fire, mustard gold is mandatory evacuation, and brown is PG&E shut-off.  Those brown patches really illustrate how much of those woods are just pure trees and where the human development is in all that.

For shits and giggles, I G’mapped Geyserville, CA and asked for vineyards and wineries.  Almost everything to the east of the highway in the below shot is under evacuation or on fire.
