Toronto Fire Services’ Aerial 322 is back in their main truck after running a spare since like November. Their pumper is right behind them.

Toronto Fire Services’ Tower 1 in the process of folding back up after providing lighting at a water rescue at Cherry Beach last night. Multiple heavy rescue squads, as well as the fire boat crew, set up a grid search on the beach and in the water. However, the search was called off when it was determined the missing person in question was safe and sound in Oshawa.

Photos of Toronto firefighters operating at a commercial/industrial fire last September at 549 Sammon Avenue. I arrived at the scene of this fire before the first-in truck because I was very close by when the call came in.
Those two firefighters who are obviously posing for me asked me to take their photo, and I was happy to oblige! The guy on the left is from station 226, which has a bunch of really friendly crews. One time I was invited to the station to take crew portraits (paid) and then they invited me into the kitchen to hang out and gave me ice cream! I’m always glad when they say hi to me at fires.

I didn’t arrive very early to this fire so I missed what crews saw when they arrived, which was the entire back exterior of the building as well as much of the interior involved in fire. Crews applied water from the interior and the exterior and performed searches. No human injuries were reported, but unfortunately two dogs lost their lives.

Toronto Fire Services crews on scene at today’s fire at 20 St Joseph Street. Pumper 313 arrived to a small flame showing from the eaves of this building. Crews determined that it was due to faulty wiring and cut the power, which allowed the fire to be extinguished. It did not extend to anywhere else in the building.
