New Brunswick Village Threatened Before Blaze Controlled
----
Tracadie, N.B., Jan. 7 - (CP)— Flames that, for a time, threatened this New Brunswick village, were brought under control after destroying two hospitals - the Hotel Dieu and the Lazeratto, a federal government institution - and all their equipment.
Residents in the vicinity speedily removed patients from the two institutions. Eight leper patients from the Lazeratto. a generation-old leper hospital, were taken to the Tracadie academy, while 20 patients from the Hotel Dieu were removed to the Dominion government building.
