ME time is for filling the well of my spirit. Today, that's some quiet coffee time and playing with the kittens before grocery shopping. Later, a walk on the beach and some meditation with the ocean. Not enough ideas? Too many? Too much chaos in your head? It’s okay to take time for YOU—and not just for you, but to fill your creative well. . You can’t get water from an empty well, and the well of inspiration works the same way. If you want to take things out, sometimes you have to put things in. Your challenge for this weekend is to do just that. Go to a museum. Play with your kids. Pretend YOU are the kid—get out some finger paint, or sidewalk chalk, or build with LEGO. Draw with your non-dominant hand. Read your favorite picture book from when you were a kid. Go to a concert. Put on some music and dance like no one can see you. . If you want to feel the creative force of life, you have to put yourself IN that force from time to time. Feel it move through you.
