My experience with the ficto community has been great, but there are some things that do bother me. This is mainly on Reddit, but I see it happen on other platforms as well. I notice that self shippers that aren’t part of a “clique” are shunned. Fictos with niche and/or “unattractive” F/Os are shunned. There’s very little interaction with anyone unless you’re popular on the ficto subreddits or you have a popular F/O. I love being ficto, but it’s a lonely community. That’s how it feels for me at least.
