Well, this was easier than expected. It turns out that a Geomancer with 1650-ish HP CAN survive Almaghest, if at full HP. That being the case, it was all a matter of not fucking up the rhythm and luck.
As for Shinryu, I had everything I needed to defeat him in theory--Berserk-via-Wonder-Wand and the Golem summon, but I was afraid it'd attack too quickly for me to be able to consistently renew the earth shield.
Not pictured: Omega, which this set-up gave me no way to beat. One year I'll have jobs that allow me to do all three, but that year is not this one.
