New Tengu Character!!!

I’m halfway done with Library of Souls and I’m still loving it. I kind of like the contrast of the few characters we have in this book to the abundance we had in the first two novels of the series. We’re getting to see more of Jacob and I’m enjoying it. He’s really grown up a lot and become bolder but I wish he’d be more sure of himself.

I don’t really like the place Jacob and Emma are in right now. It’s just kind of awkward and confusing. They are connecting on a deeper level though and I really love it.

I like that we’ve gotten to see more vulnerable but also stronger sides of Emma that we haven’t really seen before. She originally wasn’t my favorite but I’ve grown to really love her.

I love Addison and his bravery and loyalty and I really hope he hasn’t died yet.

I’m glad they’ve stuck with Sharon or sometimes he’s stuck with them because I really like him and think he’s a good person to protect/mentor them a little in Devil’s Acre.

I love/hate Devil’s Acre. I love how well Ransom Riggs has developed it and uncovered more and more of it but I hate how cruel and disgusting of a place it is.

I love the new aspect Mr. Bentham brings. I really appreciate that we got a different look at the wights’ backstory and have new hope for a successful rescue. It definitely kind of totally came out of nowhere thought but it’s ok.
