It’s weird, I really don’t like Country, but I definitely like a fair amount of Bluegrass. And I know they’re considered separate genres but they sound close enough to me that it kind of messes with my self-concept XD.
But this one is cool. I feel like it might need to go in the playlist for Knights of Day somewhere. After all, as Kherty-Aken says, “Two coins are my due.”

The Ferry Man
In the first panel of the story boards, I had drawn a small Ferry Man that brought Stan to the shore of the Styx. My team mates immediately liked the look of him and since he is basically a skeleton, his model could be reused to populate the game environment (Sans hood, Avec different accessories maybe.)
The above image demonstrates several stylisations of a human skull, so that the modeller could judge which one would be the most feasible to create in 3D. I allowed him to choose and he preferred the top left, as he was cute and happy looking.
The above turnaround was sketched for modelling reference. Giving the modeller a naked version of this character allows it to be reused later. Possible with the addition of a variety of hats.
A version of the previous model sheet with the simple addition of a Hoodie. I thought a Hoodie could be more contemporary than a cloak, is simpler to animate and adds a quirky twist to the iconic Ferry man.
