JEREMY VOLKOV

“HE’S SLEEPING OUTSIDE!”

Jeremy Volkov loves you so much. He’d burn the entire world down if you asked, without even flinching at the question. He could handle anything you threw at him.

Except for the little ‘it’ that clings onto you like a baby.

Your fluffy kitten whom you have dubbed as ‘Hubby’ was the bane of Jeremy’s existence.

The little thing curls it’s tail around your ankle, purring softly as it rubs against your skin. It seems almost sweet..cute.

Until Jeremy reaches to pet

‘Hisss!’

Jeremy moved away, dark eyes sharpening at the rejection. Hubby inched closer to you, hovering over you almost protectively.

Protecting you from what exactly? Him.

“Darling your rabid feline just hissed at me.”

“I’m sorry Jer, Hubby is just feeling protective over me. He loves me so much! Just move away a little..”

your boyfriend stared at you with disbelief.

Him? Move away? From you?

No way.

That was what started the war between him and Hubby.

Every time Jeremy tried to get intimate, Hubby would force himself in between the two of you, using his kitten cuteness to win you over in a second.

The kitten goes as far as leaving scratches on Jeremy.

“are you okay?”

“Don’t worry about me. Worry about it.”

“…what?”

When you're not looking, Jeremy pushes hubby away from you with a sparkle of glee at the cat's sudden removal.

He holds you tighter, wrapping his arms around your body and finds a way to insert himself between hubby and you.

He grins as he wins the battle. Ignoring the incredibly loud hissing from hubby.

Jeremy still found it annoying that you named your cat and pet name but still referred him as ‘Jer’

He finds ways to trick you into using pet names and once you start the habit, Jeremy feels like he’s won more points than hubby.

Jeremy doesn’t admit it but anytime you initiate affection in front of Hubby, he takes the chance to send the kitten a smug smile.

It’s embarrassing how fast he gets excited when you choose him over hubby.

But apparently Hubby has learnt some tricks…

“I need to get out of bed, Jer. Hubby needs to eat his dinner!”

“Okay? What is he? Five? Let him get it himself.”

“Jer.”

The heathens have never seen Jeremy pouting until you stood up and left to look after hubby.

But as much as Jeremy despises the creature, he can’t help but seek Hubby’s affection as well.

Sometimes—when no one’s looking—he curls up besides hubby and cuddles with him. Secretly whilst Hubby is asleep, Jeremy pecks his forehead lovingly.

If you call him out on it, he'll deny it till he’s dead.

“Awhh! Are you getting along with hubs now?”

“Fuck no.”

you give him a deadpan look.

The kitten vs Bf war will never stop but at least you know Jeremy does have a soft spot Hubby.

KILLIAN CARSON

“YOUR CREATURE HISSED AT ME!”

Killian acts so passive aggressive towards Hubby, it’s genuinely amusing.

The grown man is beefing with a fluffy kitten.

Killian Carson 100% believes that hubby is out to get him, possibly trying to steal the love of his life away. He sounds like those crazy theory ranters anytime he brings it up.

“Gareth, I'm being serious. Hubby is going to ruin my entire relationship.”

“It’s a fucking cat.”

He tries to get along with Hubby but the moment the cat scratches him, all bets are off.

The two are glaring at each other 24/7.

Killian has gone as far to lock your bedroom door so Hubby can’t enter. He chuckles to himself as he hears Hubby scratch against the door.

If you ever leave him on babysitting duties, the best he’ll do is leave Hubby’s food out but that’s it.

He scoffs anytime you baby hubby.

“Awhhh Hubby, aren't you just the cutest? Isn’t he adorable, Kill?”

“He looks like a monstrosity.”

“Killian, you're sleeping on the couch tonight.”

Glares at the smug cat as you and Hubby get comfortable in bed whilst he’s laying down on the uncomfortable couch.

Killian is trying to be the mature man you know and love but sometimes Hubby makes that very difficult for him.

You won’t believe him when he tells you that.

Whenever you leave the two alone for less than five minutes, you’ll come back to Killian holding Hubby away from his body as the cat attempts to scratch.

“Told you your feline was aggressive.”

Killian is the type to blame your cat if he ever breaks something.

It’s not like you believe him anyways

From a young age, Killian’s never had the best relationship with animals so for your sake, He’ll be civil.

He doesn’t quite understand the concept of loving an animal to the point of calling it your ‘son’ or ‘daughter’ so Killian secretly does research about it.

Overtime, Killian won’t hate the feline as much compared to when you guys first started dating.

Though from time to time, You’ll catch him whispering threats to hubby.

The war never really ends :)

ELI KING

“SWEETHEART GET YOUR THING OUT OF OUR BED.”

you have a bad habit of calling Eli ‘hubby’

So you can imagine how confusing it gets around the house.

“Hubby! It’s feeding time!”

“Oh? You—“

“I’m talking about my cat, Eli.”

Eli glares at the creature as it mockingly walks towards you, possessively grazing its tail on your legs.

Eli King believes he’s above jealousy. After all it is an ugly emotion but he can’t help but stress over the fact there’s a 99% chance you’ll leave him for Hubby.

Yeah you heard that right.

Your cat.

He’s seen videos about the growth of cat ladies, he’s like those mums who believes anything off of Facebook, so there’s a chance he distances your cat away from you without being obvious.

He just doesn’t want you to depend on Hubby (Eli is overthinker final boss)

“Name, why must we spend 1 thousand dollars for your cat?”

“Hubby deserves the best!”

Eli King doesn’t spoil Hubby.

The kitten already has an expensive comfy bed, why does it need an entire room?

Though he’ll stop complaining once you shower him with affection ;)

Eli will only get annoyed with Hubby if the kitten starts the fight first.

Other than that, Eli leaves the cat alone.

“Hubby is kinda ugly..”

“Landon watch it.”

surprisingly, Eli King will defend Hubby from others. You love your cat so much and you HATE when someone says something about him, so Eli ad opts that mindset as well.

One minute he’s disturbing the cat, the next he’s ruthlessly threatening someone who dared to insult hubby.

Eli is somehow hubby’s number 1 defender and number 1 hater.

There’s no inbetween.

*hissss!*

“Name!!”

If Hubby hisses at him whenever the two of you try to have an intimate moment, Eli will not hesitate to throw (gently place) him outside.

He’ll tolerate anything else BUT that.

He values the time you two spend together, quality time is something he cherishes especially since he’s busy with work nearly all the time.

Other than that, Hubby is free to do whatever he wants.

Eli King loves you so much he’ll quickly get over any anger hubby makes him feel. Sometime in the future, may even begin spoiling the little cat.

Though pray that when you guys have children they won’t show too much favouritism to Hubby. Eli already shares you with him, he won’t share his kids.
