Adrien Agreste made his way up the steps of his school, glancing around for a particular blue headed girl. He greeted Nino at the door and started to walk inside with his friend, when Nino stopped him. He glanced back, puzzled. Nino rubbed his arm "umm... Alya actually wanted me to wait for her if that's okay? Said she had something important to show me." Adrien laughed and took a seat on the step "okay." He looked over at his friend "so you and alya- you're together?" Nino shrugged "I mean- I thought we were. Until she called me her friend and now I don't know what to think." Adrien put a hand on his friends shoulder "Nino, did you ever consider that maybe she wants you to ask her out? Do it the right way?" Nino suddenly became pale. "A-ask her out?... But I can't do that!" "Why not? You two are already practically together. If you want her you've gotta go for it." The DJ smiled "you're one to talk." He scowled "what's that supposed to mean?" "Oh cmon man, it may not be obvious to everyone, but I'm you're best friend and I can totally see you're into Marinette." Adrien could feel his face turn a deep shade of red "I don't - I'm not -" "See! You can't even make a sentence, and you're never like that, it's always me" He was saved from making even more of a fool out of himself when Alya sat down in front of them, waving" "Hey Adrien, hey Nino" Nino shut his mouth and looked away "um hey- hi- hello." He reached over and shoved Nino lightly with his hand "now who's talking?" His friend scowled and then began stuttering through a conversation with alya. Adrien looked around for Marinette, but didn't see her anywhere still. He glanced down at his watch: 7:34. School didn't start till 8, and she was never earlier than 7:55. After five more minutes had past, the group of three friends stood up and made their way towards the door. They walked inside and immediately after adrien was hit in the back by the door, falling to the ground. He grimaced and turned around to see a very shocked Marinette standing with a shocked face in the doorway. "Sorry!" She squeaked, dropping to the floor and helping him get his books "I thought I was late- it's almost 8 now and are going to be late if we don't hurry. I'm so sorry." She looked down and away with a sad look on her face "no don't worry about it Marinette really, it's okay" he patted her shoulder "and you're not late it's only 7:40" She looked at her phone "but my - oh... It is well, at least I'm early?" She sighed and rubbed her head. "Sorry guys, it was a long night last night." Alya hugged her friend "we get it Mari, now come on i can smell the treats you brought for breakfast in your bag and I'm craving them, let's go eat." Adrien senses perked up and he almost fainted as he smelled the heavenly smell coming from marionettes pack. This day was looking great so far in his opinion... Now to get his hands on one of those cookies..
