I miss kainora... that is all...

One thing I realized well rewatching legend of korra is one of the reasons why kainora is so refreshing to me. Kai isn’t the rebellious kid coming and in chasing after a girl who is quiet and understated about her feelings, KAI is the one who is quiet and understated with his feelings. Jinoras the one always making the first move and going in for check kisses and hugs. It’s a refreshing break from the classic “boy comes in and changes a sweet innocent girl” jinora was the one who acted on her feelings. You see this boy who is the classic rebellious skater boy trope, and a girl whose this innocent book nerd, but jinora is the confident and flirtatious one. And not that Kai didn’t act on his feelings, but he was a lot more scared and nervous when you rewatch season 3. And it makes perfect sense, the boy grew up alone as an orphan of course he wouldn’t be the best at flirting and expressing his feelings. Whenever you see Kai “flirting” with jinora it’s always essentially just Kai telling her how amazing she is, and I mean, he’s right.

I just want kainora back is that to much to ask :(

i'll say it: the world deserves more kainora

I get that being frozen for 100 years is a tough thing to go through but honestly Aang should have used it for comedy more

This raises the question of whether Aang is telling the truth or if Toph and Bumi just happen to have the same sense of humor as him.

i know its been said b4 but growing up suicidal and then reaching an age you never planned to live to is extremely stressful and terrifying, and we deserve more credit for not killing ourselves and THEN having to make up for the time we spent not caring if we lived or died and not doing work to improve our lives.

i feel behind in life because i spent the last 7 ish years not giving a shit about my future because i assumed id be dead before id have to deal with that, and now i have to start making decisions that many people started considering years ago.

i just feel like. suicidal people dont get credit for firstly, how stressful life is while suicidal, how difficult it is just to do simple tasks, and secondly, how hard it is to recover from years spent not caring once a person is no longer actively suicidal or no longer having suicidal ideations.
