Did I ever mention that my selected trollname for myself is "KIKIMO KATHAR"? Just throwin' this into The Blog Archive, because I don't want to forget it, 'cause I'm quite proud of it.
"Kikimo" is from "kikimora", a Slavic female house spirit said to cause mischief at night if housework is neglected. It also shares the first syllable of my name. Also, the most famous depiction of this spirit gives her birdlike features, so there's that.
"Kathar" is from "Cathartes", the new-world vulture genus that turkey vultures belong to. It also rhymes with my last name.
