You were in a  fight you and fangs against a bunch of ghoulies sweet pea and Toni on their way

He was fighting trying to protect you, to rescue you from the ghoulies that had begun following you on your way home

Yeah you may be thinking, you are a witch why did you not fight them off, well for starters no one in Riverdale knows what you are not even your boyfriend fangs

You had to fight them off in a mundane way they could not know, so you did that was until fangs arrived and he saw you injured, bleeding while laying on the ground

He protected you from them from that moment on the ghoulies soul focus was him now, and no matter how hard you fought against them, they just kept going for him. So you did what any rational witch would do when someone was hurting someone they loved

You cast a spell upon them to stop and have no memory of the night's events

But that didn’t help fangs he was bleeding out you could not do magic in the middle of the road, and risk being seen

“Fangs wake up, baby please just wake up”

“Y/N” that is when Toni and sweet pea arrived

“He isn’t waking up!”

“Y/n we need to take him to the hospital he is in bad shape”

“Just bring him home I will care for him”

“Y/N he needs medical attention”

“Do as I say please I promise if he is not better by morning you can take him to the hospital, he will be okay in my care I promise

Getting to your house took longer than expected you were so afraid of losing him, so afraid that maybe you were too late.

They brought him in placing him down on the couch

“I got it from here I will call you two when he wakes up”

As soon as they departed out the doors you heard whimpers from Fangs, looking over you saw his body morph into that of what looked like a wolf

You have known Fans since you were kids there was not one time something like this had happened, but there was.

When you were around the age of 15, after your parents left, you grew really sick, fangs had been taking care of you. You had the flu, cold sweats, heat flashes, hallucinations the whole 9. You remember the time you woke up curled into soft fur, thinking it was a fever dream you had gone back to sleep but maybe, just maybe it wasn’t.

But could he had hid it for this long.

None of that matters now, however, because you needed to save him

You performed a spell but he still was not waking up.

“Fogarty please I am begging you please, please wage up baby”

Within A  few minutes his heart was calming down from what it had once been and you thought you were losing him until you watched the cuts heal across his body

He sprang up licking you on the face before disappearing into your room and coming back with a hoodie and basketball shorts on and pecking you on the cheek.

“Fangs…”

“Y/N…”

“So what just gonna act like everything is normal after you turned into a WOLF!”

“Oh just like your acting like you didn’t just heal me…”

“I thought I was the only one…”

“Oh no princess, I’ve been a wolf forever just kept it hidden to protect you, and from what I gather you must be a witch huh”

“Yeah…, I, I thought you were dead Fangs, I didn’t think it worked” you body was shaking at this point, partially in shock from learning your boyfriend was a wolf, and partially because of the fear that you could have actually lost him

“Hey, shhh I got you, I told you I would never leave you I would never break that promise”

“You could have died fangs!”

“Not really babe I would’ve healed in a few days, the only way I can die is if they snap my neck, it’s why we keep it a secret”

“WE!”

“Uh oh”

“Fangs Fogarty! Who else is a wolf!”

“The serpents…”

“All of them!”

“Okay Fangs, same thing” You laughed it off slightly became he came wrapping you in his arms, “I thought I lost you tonight…”

“I know I’m sorry for scaring you and sorry for not telling you that I'm a wolf”

“It’s not your fault, I didn't tell you I was a witch, I can’t really be upset about it you know”

“I love you Fangs”

“Is she okay!”

“Sir are you family”

“We are all family” FP stood in front of the doctor then.

“Well good news, no great news. They are both going to be just fine the bullet missed many…”

“Wait… huh?” Did I hear what he said correctly? Did he say both? There is no way… well I mean there is, however… she would've told me. “Uhm doc you said both…?”

“Yes, both Miss Jones and the baby are doing great. Vitals are great and they are both very healthy”

“Oh my god”

“Are you alright sir” My face fell, I was gonna be a dad. How did I not know I was gonna be a dad.

“You knocked up my daughter!”

“Sir I need you to stop yelling or you will be escorted out of the hospital”

“Let’s take a walk dad”

“I’m gonna be a dad…”

“Oh your the father congratulations”

“Thank you… uhm are you sure everything is alright with the baby I don’t think Y/N knows yet”

“Well we checked on both her and the child as far as it looks like everything is great, I can give you a name of a few doctors she can choose from for further check ups if you would like”

“That would be great thank you”

“Well sir again congratulations and if you would like to go visit her she is in room 124. She should be awake by now I will be in soon to let you guys know everything. I would like her to stay the night for observation though” The doc left but I stood still.

“Fogarty you good”

“No how am I gonna do this Pea?”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m gonna be a dad, Pea. I… I don’t even have a dad how the fuck am I gonna do this. How am I gonna fucking raise a child? I can’t raise a child!”

“Look at me. Your having a baby with Y/N the girl who you say is the life of your life. Fuck not having a dad in your own life. Your gonna be a great dad, you know why Fogarty? Your gonna be a great dad cause your gonna be better than your own and your already a step ahead cause you haven't left yet”

“What if…”

“No stop with the fuckin what if’s it ain't gonna be rainbows and unicorns… well maybe if you have a girl but you get my point. It may not be easy but you guys are gonna be fine. You have each other, fuck you have an entire family standing in this room right now that are gonna be there for both of you. I’m here for you and I’m here for her okay, you’re not alone in this”

“Thank you Pea”

“Oh shut up you know you don’t need to thank me. Now go get your girls Fogarty”

“Girls we don’t…”

“Oh that’s my guess you gonna have a mini Y/N running around”

“Save me now”

“Go you idiot” It was time to see my girl, and meet my baby for the first time. Well, not meet but see. No not see touch, I don’t...  first time to be in the presence of my baby. I had to tell her because she didn’t even know yet.

*Knocks* Y/N POV

“Come in”

“Hi baby, how you feeling”

“I’m okay now they gave me some more medicine for the pain”

“I thought I lost you…”

“Fangs!” You couldn’t hold the tears in.

“Hey, hey I’m right here no need to cry baby it’s okay, your okay now” You watched as he brought your hands to his lips and felt tears slipping out of his eyes.

“Well if I’m not allowed to cry you’re not allowed either”

“Hey I deserve to cry, my worst nightmare came true when I thought I was gonna lose you. Fuck I thought you were gone. Why would you do that!”

“What like I wanted to get shot”

“No but why did you push me out of the way, I should be in here not you not…”

“I’m sorry okay I barely had time to think after I saw the gun, but you know I don’t regret it for one second. The doc said that if I had been over even a tiny bit more it would have hit a major artery. So you know maybe me pushing you out of the way was the better thing because I couldn’t handle you dying Fangs. I need you now more than ever. I'm sorry I put our baby in danger though I didn’t know. I’m already risking her life how am I gonna fucking do this” You put your baby in danger. Yeah, you may not have had any idea that you were pregnant, but you could’ve killed her with that gunshot. You felt like you were gonna be a terrible mother. You had nothing to go off of. Your mother left you years ago when you and Jug were around 3 years old.

“Hey you are going to be a great mother Y/N”

“But I have nothing to go off of Fangs, fuck I never had a mom how will I…”

“I said the same things earlier”

“Hey! I love your mother”

“No, no about my dad baby”

“Fangs… your way better than him”

“I know that now. Pea kinda stopped me from freaking out but he said something important. He said You have each other, fuck you have an entire family standing in this room right now that are gonna be there for both of you. And he’s right we have an entire family backing us. Hell even if we didn’t there is no one I’d rather be having a baby with”

“Fangs we’re so young though how are we gonna do this!”

“I don’t know but we will figure it out”

“Fangs I get if you wanna leave this shouldn’t be your problem I should've been more careful”

“I’m not going anywhere. Plus it kinda is my fault… ya know. We made a baby together so that is kinda like 50% my fault”

“You're a dork”

“Oh I know, A dork that fucking loves you and this child till the end of time. I am so happy to be having a baby with you Y/N. I mean I am scared shitless but I am so fucking happy” He leaned in slowly placing his hand on your stomach as he brought his lips to your own.

“Fangs can you come lay with me… miss you”

“I’m right here baby. I don’t wanna hurt you”

“Please” You scooted over slightly and he took his boots off and laid his jacket over the chair before climbing into the bed. “Thank you”

“I’m just here to please my queen”

“Shut up”

“I love you”

“I love you too” You laid your head on his chest.

“I’ll be right here when you wake up, not gonna move okay”

“Okay” You slowly drifted to sleep. With him everything was calm. You could always sleep in his arms no matter the situation. He was warm, comfortable. He was home.

*knock*

You slept for about a half-hour cuddled into the chest of Fangs. You slowly drifting into consciousness recognizing the sounds of your father and brother talking to Fangs, but you wanted to hear what they had to say so you pretended to be asleep.

“How is my baby?”

“She’s doing okay, she was in a little pain but they gave her more medicine for it. I think that’s why she fell asleep”

“It’s weird not having my sister up and yelling”

“She only yells cause she cares”

“I know”

“Look FP, Jug I am so sorry”

“No boy, stop. I’m sorry I never should have blamed you for her getting shot. It was her choice, hell I would’ve done it if it was her in your position too. Hell, we all would’ve done it so I get it. I understand her choice. I mean I’d rather her not have done it but still, I’m not upset with you, I’m not upset with her”

“Fangs, I’m sorry for turning in that tape to the sheriff. I just, I thought you had cheated and I was so mad. She’s just my sis you know and I got a step ahead of myself”

“It’s fine. You just wanted to protect her, I get it. I feel the same way. I would do anything to protect her. Hell I would’ve probably done the same thing”

“You really love her huh?”

“She’s my everything Jug. With her, nothing can go wrong. We could be sitting there doing nothing just being in her company makes me undeniably happy and now, now I have this little bean growing inside of her that’s half mine and somehow I love her even more if that is even possible”

“Fogarty… look boy I’m sorry I got over my head earlier when the doc told us. I was so shocked. Their mom and I were so young when we had them I didn’t want that life for her, but ya know you're a better man than I was and I know you're going to be there. I just wanna say sorry for getting pissed and sorry for yell…” He yelled at your man. The one thing you always tell him not to do since the first time he did it.

“I’m sorry dad you what!”

“Oh hi, baby glad your awake uhm…”

“Dad I swear to god if I could get up out of this bed quick enough I…”

“I know baby I already apologized, I’m sorry. We were all kinda shocked with the whole you getting shot and then the whole baby thing it was just a lot. I am glad you're okay I don’t know what I would’ve done” See the thing with your father was it was not often that he cried. But you saw the tears in his eyes.

“Dad… hey come here give me a hug, I’m okay”

“I know I just”

“No, we are not thinking about that. I am fine and that is all that matters. Your grandchild and I are fine we don’t need to think about the what if’s”

“Okay, hey ima head home do you need anything?”

“No, I’m okay dad thankyou”

“Bye sis”

“Bye Juggy” You watched as they closed the door. You instantly snuggled back into Fang’s chest.

“Wanna go home Fangs”

“Doc said you gotta stay till tomorrow morning baby, he wants to make sure everything is good with you two”

“Well, then you should go home and get some sleep babe, just pick me up tomorrow” He started laughing and you didn’t understand why. “Uhm…”

“Your funny Jones”

“What are you talking about?”

“Go home… are you insane? Oh, sweet girl, you ain’t getting out of my sight. I told you I would be here when you wake up. I’m not leaving”

“What if they kick you out”

“I’ll hide in the closet”

“You are insane”

“I know… now get some sleep baby and tomorrow we can go home okay, promise”

“I love you Fogarty” with a kiss to the top of your head you slowly drifted to sleep. You woke up the next morning to kissed on your forehead and a hand rubbing circle along your stomach.

“Hi baby”

“Hi sweet girl”

“I love seeing you open your eyes thought I would never…”

“Stop”

“I’m sorry”

“I know it was hard Fangs, I get what I did was hard for everyone, just wanna forget”

“Okay baby, hey the doc came in said you can go if your feeling alright. I had Pea grab us clothes so if you wanna get dressed we can head out”

“I’m fine not too much pain, I just wanna go home”

“Okay, can you let go so I can get up?”

“But you're so warm”

“Okay I know but… we can be warm in our own bed if you let me take you home”

“Okay”

“He stood up grabbing the duffel and placing it on the bed. You stood up Fangs helping you as you gabbed the clothes from him. You took your pants of but leaning down hurt a bit.

“Fangs…” “You okay?”

“This is embarrassing”

“What is?”

“Need help getting dressed, it hurts a bit. But nevermind I can do it”

“No, I’m right here, I wanna help. Baby that isn’t embarrassing” He began helping you step into the clothes. “Imagine in a few months you’ll be in the same boat won’t even be able to tie your own shoes”

“Oh no…” You looked down in embarrassment.

“Hey, hey but don’t worry I'll  be right here just like I am now”

“I know babe”

“Alright, you good to go?”

“Mhm,” He grabbed your arm helping you walk out of the room.

“Say goodbye to the hospital baby because we are not ever stepping foot back in here for you unless it’s for that little bean growing in your stomach got it” You were signing the paperwork to check out when Fangs turned to the nurse “You know the next time we are here she’s gonna be having our baby” You laughed at his antics. He could always make you laugh no matter what. He was so happy, you saw the light in his eyes when he talked about the little bean you were carrying. His little bean.

“We’re here” Jug and I grabbed her in our arms carrying her in screaming for someone to help but no one was moving. “Someone help us!” Jug had me support her as he grabbed a nurse.

“We have a female with a gunshot wound please help her, please” The nurse just shook her head before a doctor barged out.

“What is going on?”

“My girl got shot, sir please help her, please you gotta”

“Get me a gurney now!” I tried following them back but was stopped by the doctor.

“Son you can’t come back here I’m sorry, wait out front”

“I need her! I can’t let her be by herself”

“If you need her, then let me help her!”

“Take care of her!”

The doctor disappeared behind the doors, my last glance at Y/N was her eyes closed on the gurney. Fuck what I would give to be able to see her eyes again. I just stood there before Pea came over grabbing my arm and leading me to a chair next to Toni. Jones nowhere in sight. I sat on the chair not able to move. All I wanted was for her to be okay, to see her eyes again, see her again. I didn’t even realize what was going on until I felt my back slam against a wall. Jughead grabbed me up out of the chair shoving me into the wall. I didn’t say anything, he was angry I knew that. He was pissed and he had a right to be it was all my fault.

“I fucking told her to stay home, told her to fucking wait and that I would bring you to her but no of course not. Fuck Fangs why would you let her do that. She just had to fucking come and see you, had to push you out of the way of that stupid fucking bullet. That should be you back there not her!”

“Let him go Jug, he didn’t do anything”

FP ran in then.

“Where is she! Where’s my daughter?”

“She’s in surgery dad” Jughead had me held up as FP began yelling in my face as well.

“Is she gonna make it? What did they say?”

“I don’t know, they just took her back”

“This is your fault Fogarty, why the fuck would you let her push you”

I stayed silent, my eyes glossed over with tears about to spill.

“I told you to protect her! The one fucking thing I asked of you when it came to my baby girl and you fucking failed. Failed Fogarty and now she’s back there fighting for her god damn life.”

Jughead pressed me harder against the wall. “If she dies Fangs. I’ll fucking end you.”

“I…” Sweet Pea came over shoving them off of me.

“Cool it, Jones, let him down”

“Need I remind you I am your leader Sweet Pea!”

“Fuck off Jones, get off your leader bullshit for one minute. Fucking think for one second. Your daughter and your sister is back there fighting for her life because she stepped in front of Fangs. You standing here yelling at Fangs isn’t gonna change that she is back there fighting! Yeah, maybe it wasn’t her best decision but she did it because she loves him. Because she cares about him more than anything else in this world. So maybe you both need to go take a walk or something. You need to let him down don’t you see he is hurting just as much as you, he’s just letting you yell at him taking all your hits because he doesn’t care about anything but being able to see Y/N again. I don’t really give a shit what you do but stop fucking yelling at him for no reason because it’s stupid to blame anyone here but Mantle who had the gun, which by the way anyone know where he is?!” Jughead let me down right then as FP grabbed his shoulder walking out of the hospital. As soon as he let me go I fell to my knees. I couldn’t hold it in anymore, tears came down full force. Usually, I wouldn’t cry but right here right now I didn’t care at all. I looked up to Pea who had kneeled in front of me.

“What if she… what if she’s gone because of me. It’s my fault, Pea. What if…”

“Stop with the what if’s Fogarty you know how fucking strong she is. Think about it, she is basically indestructible. Hell think about when we met her”

“Your right Pea. Fuck she was such a badass.”

“Yeah, I remember you were flirting with her but she poured the milkshake on you and told you that you were thirsty. Oh my god, I remember it like it was yesterday. She wanted to fucking smack you when you said you wouldn’t have been able to drink it anyway cause your lactose intolerant”

“ Oh yeah I forgot about that part”

“She was pissed”

“I know I thought she was about to throw mine on you two, but remember she just took it cause she wasted hers on you. Said she deserved it”

“She always says she loves your smart ass comments, guess that’s why you guys fit so well. She has the same exact ones makes me wanna pull my hair out”

“Pea, Oh my god remember the time that dude smacked her ass and she put him into a chokehold and basically body-slammed him. That dude was like twice her size ahha”

“Yeah and we were standing to the side and you wanted to take care of him for touching your girl”

“Dude I was pissed wanted to shove him across the room but she beat me to it”

“I thought she was just gonna smack him across the face or something, but nope she really went there. No guys mess with her now!”

“I remember our first date too fuck remember I called you freaking out, I screwed it up so bad but she didn’t care”

“What when you caught the pasta on fire?”

“Look I don’t know what happened”

“I do, you forgot the water, you know the one thing pasta needs to cook and uhm I don’t know not burn!”

“I was nervous!”

“Wasn’t she talking to Toni when she pulled up”

“Yeah Toni tells me about it all the time, I’ll never live it down. She pulled up when the stove was on fire and saw me trying to put it out through the window, she rushed in and fixed everything up. She started eating the hard pasta just to make me feel good. Turns out she actually likes chewing on hard pasta. But anyway we went to Pops after though and it was all good. But she did make me drink a few sips of her milkshake cause she ‘wanted me to try how good it was’ and I regretted that instantly”

“Oh yeah you kicked her out of your trailer after bringing her back cause of your terrible gas, haha she called me and asked if you had some condition or something!”

“Wait she what!”

“Oh, I wasn’t supposed to tell you that… oops”

“We have been dating for years and you haven’t told me that she thought I had some farting disorder!”

“She promised me to secrecy Fogarty”

“Jesus Christ”

“She fixed everything that night, she always does. With her, it’s like nothing can go wrong. Even if I’m in the worst mood everything turns up when I see her. Literally, with her everything is right. Fuck Pea… I can’t lose her. I won’t”

“She’s gonna be fine she always is. Plus she wouldn’t leave me here to deal with your ass alone. Now go sit down I'm gonna grab you some food”

“Thanks” FP and Jughead came back in as Pea sat down and handed me a sandwich.

“Any word yet?”

“No”

“Fuck” Fp slammed his fist into the wall

“She’s gonna be okay I know it”

“You know nothing Fogarty!”

“No shit FP, I know nothing because none of us have heard anything and we have been here all night. I haven’t moved a fucking muscle. Look FP I love her just as much as you do. She is my fucking everything okay. I would do anything. Don’t you think if I could be the one in there right now I would be! She is my life, my world. I… fuck I need her back as much as you do… I need her”

“Look I’m sorry Fogarty I just… she’s my baby girl, my everything too. I don’t wanna lose her either. Fuck if she knew I yelled at you she would be wringing my neck right now, fuck I’d give anything for that to happen right now”

“She’s gonna be okay”

“You don…”

“I may not know for sure, I may not know what is going on. But Y/N is a fucking fighter you know that more than anyone. Who was there with Jug when you went downhill FP. Who stayed and had your back that entire time even though her father was slowly slipping away. Who took care of the Serpents why you were going through all that shit. Fuck who took care of Peabody! Y/N is the strongest person I have met in my entire life. She will get through this. I know it”

“But you don’t know that Fogarty I could lose my daughter!”

“Yeah and I could lose the one person who means the most to me in the world so I guess we're in the same boat FP”

“Both of you need to stop. She wouldn’t want you fighting. Fuck I could lose my sister, Pea could lose his best friend. The serpents lose their family, but we won’t because she is strong as hell we all know that. She is going to be okay”

“People for Y/N Jones” The doctor came out then I stood right up along with everyone else.
