5 years ago today I met someone who quickly became an integral part of my life on this silly little app some of us at one time or another called home. We had an instant connection that I have never had with anyone in my life. She's not just a friend; she's the kind of person who stands by you through thick and thin, offering support and laughter when needed most. She's my go-to confidante, the one I can always count on for a dose of reality and a good time. Our connection runs deep, she’s quite literally my soul sister, my ride or die, and I'm grateful for her presence every day.

I was so happy to be able to be in her town to celebrate our friendiversary together. We are the definition of the opposite aesthetic best friends, and we commemorated it with a cake! @wayward-river

I know I’m behind on episodes honestly I’m behind on seasons. But I have to say it’s a bittersweet moment for it to be the end of an era. Riverdale has given me so much. It gave me a hobby during college, a community where I could make people happy, and above all it gave me one of my best friends in the entire world, honestly it gave me my sister. I will forever have Riverdale in my heart ❤️

You couldn’t let your thoughts drift to that now as you tried to remember if you had left anything on last night after getting home from the beach. Did you leave music on last night? No, you couldn’t have, you haven’t dared touch one of the last things Bradley had. It was on his favorite station, playing the best for the best he would tell you as he danced you around the kitchen, the smell of whatever was cooking, and the sound of your combined laughter together had always been the best moments.

It’s kind of bittersweet that it’s the end of Riverdale. I still love writing I just haven’t posted in forever. The other day seeing that the last season is so soon is crazy to me. Riverdale has given me so much. During college it gave me this community that I spend my time writing for which I loved so dearly, but more than that it gave me my best friend in the entire world. I will always have a special place in my heart for the show and everything I have gotten because of it.

It’s time. It’s honestly kind of bittersweet. I’m a season or two behind as well so I will have to catch up. My love for Riverdale is still there and always will be even though I tapered off a bit. But I can’t thank this show enough and all of you for always supporting my writing and work. This show gave me something to for a few years and I loved every bit and piece of it. But I love this show more for inevitably introducing me to my best friend, my sister, the girl I go to for everything. It’s actually crazy to me that I met her in 2018 I think maybe 2019z still crazy regardless to even think about.

This show will forever be in my heart and my memories both the laughs, the friendships, the stories, and all of you guys. And to anyone reading this no I’m not gone, I’ll still leave this page open who knows maybe another show will inspire me someday 🖤
