I've had this plot in my head for a while:
Mafia! Jannik, but he's like morally grey, he does do illegal stuff but there are somethings he doesn't do, and he also protects cities he's in charge of.
He's dating carlos, who's an orphan(his parents and family died maybe in an accident) and he was a waiter before he met jannik, poor but a kind and pretty sunshine, which is what attracted jannik to him.
Jannik has an accident (maybe during a fight or an organised accident or smth) while in a different country, he's in a coma for a while and he wakes up with some memories gone, mainly forgetting that carlos exists.
Meanwhile all carlos knows is that his boyfriend went on a job, and he never came back. Jannik's subordinates don't tell him about carlos (maybe they hate carlos or they think jannik deserves someone better than a waiter or that carlos distracts him).
After jannik's disappears, carlos finds out he's pregnant.
Jumping to a few years after(or maybe the story starts here and we hear the past later in snippets), carlos is working two jobs to try and raise his baby boy alone. He always tells him that if his papa was here he'd love him. Carlos likes to believe that jannik is dead, because that's better than the though of jannik just leaving him.
One day, jannik is in carlos's Town for business, they bump into eachother, carlos is frozen. meanwhile, jannik's head starts hurting and he passes out.
Carlos takes him to his house, lays him on the couch and just stares blankly at him. When jannik wakes up, theyre both frozen for a second, before tears start running on Carlos’s cheeks. Soon he's sobbing uncontrollably, only managing to utter jannik's name and"why?".
Jannik hugs him and tries frantically to calm him down, when that doesn't work, he blurts out that he lost his memories and that he only remembered carlos now when he saw him.
From there it's healing and fluff, jannik realises he has a three year old son, he realises his babies have been living poorly for more than 3 years. He takes them to his mansion, punishes everyone that didn't tell him about the most important part of his life:carlos. And it's upwards from there. Maybe some cliche jannik scaring off carlos's mean manager.
I'm gonna be shameless for once and tag some writers in the hopes this gets brought to reality🫣😝😂
