It was such a cliche, standing at the train station next to Minho. A suitcase sat on the ground between their feet while snow fell from the sky. It was like every sad movie Jisung had ever seen. Minho's arm wraps behind him to hold tightly at his waist, like he's scared Jisung will float away. He can feel the way his fingers flex against him, even through the layers of fabric. Overhead a speaker announces the next train arriving. 10 minutes out. 10 minutes left with Minho. He steps closer, pressing himself into Minho's side, against the wool of his coat. The arm around him holds tighter. "You'll write?" Minho asks, his voice shaking barely audible along the busy track. "Always," Jisung replies, looking to him. His eyes trace over the planes of Minho's profile, memorizing the shape of his lips and the angle of his nose. Sparkling eyes meet his own as Minho moves to look back at him. There is a quick shuffle to move the suitcase before Minho is pulling Jisung to his chest, sucking in a shuddering breath. Jisung presses his face into the fabric of Minho's coat, breathing deeply to get lung fulls of Minho's cologne. Tears build on the edge of his eyes as Jisung pulls back to look over Minho again. Minho who slowly unwraps Jisung's scarf from his neck and replaces it with his own. A trade of items. A way to take just a little bit of the other with them. His throat tightened as he thought about what this meant for them. A tear finally breaking free from the dam as the train horn can be heard in the distance.
