All those posts that're like "let villains be evil!!!" "not every villain needs a tragic backstory or be redeemed!!!" and they always reference either Steven Universe or Zuko. Which is. very funny because SU didn't redeem EVERYONE, and ATLA had several unredeemed villains. MOST shows have either exclusively or 80% pure evil characters, and those that redeem often had it be the "heart not in it" henchman. And nobody talks about older stuff like Digimon or Sailor Moon either. It's stupid.
