brenda, help! i stumbled upon a seb stan opinions blog and i'm shocked at people now?? like these blogs spend time to stalk the people who are seen in his general vicinity and demonize *him* based on conjecture and 'my source says'?? dead certain that he sleeps & dumps every woman he meets, is on something, is a cheater/sexist/etc, his new movies "are sure to be bad", and he has trump tendencies?! TRUMP?! why spend your time demonizing someone who's done next to nothing to bring about this hate?
Yeah, okay, wow, that’s...a lot. And if people have nothing better to do with their time than tear down total strangers because of whatever arbitrary reason, that’s on them and conscience, and their bad karma to sort out.
And, the truth is, none of us know Seb (or Chris or Anthony or Scarlett or any of the cast) so none of his fans can say for certain what type of person he is or how he is in private. People are complicated, and that’s how it should be. If everyone was the same or acted the same way to every single person, then the world would be a boring place.
All I can tell you is he’s never been anything other than extremely nice to me every time I’ve met him. And that I enjoy watching him grow as an actor, and think he makes interesting choices in the roles he plays. If any of that were to change, then it doesn’t mean he’s all of a sudden a terrible person or actor or that he’s cancelled - just that my tastes have changed and his have too and that’s also okay. Actors I loved in my teens and twenties aren’t necessarily actors I still love today (Ben Affleck and Karl Urban are the big exceptions - I’ll be stanning those two fucking nerds for life, it looks like :D)
If you enjoy being a fan of Seb’s now, then ENJOY it. Don’t let the hateful words of a few people cut into that joy. Life is short and cruel enough without giving strangers the power to determine what brings you happiness and what doesn’t.
