What do you think about Silentshipping, Trustshipping, Outcastshipping, Ardentshipping, Fameshipping, and Cheershipping?
This actually used to be my endgame pairing for Shizuka and Seto.  I think that they could be good for each other if they interacted more; Shizuka is a kind and gentle individual with an uncommon amount of strength for her age and what she’s been through, and I think she would be able to weather any of the more snarky/mean things that Seto might throw at her during the beginnings of their interaction.  If she found out about what his life had been as a child, she might be pretty motivated to show him kindness, since she has at least some idea of what it’s like to have a rough childhood and the fear of being separated from the family member you’re closest too.  He would probably be snarky towards her as always, but would be kind of shocked at how she always was so nice to him whenever they were near each other, and this might lead to them talking and interacting more, since Seto can’t understand why this little girl is always making an effort to be nice to him.  Shizuka is a bit like Kisara in her characterization, quiet, demure, and kind, and I don’t think that would be lost on Seto.  If they were to start a relationship, it would be slow and beneficial for both of them, probably softening up Seto a bit and giving Shizuka a bit more bite and the ability to stand up for herself, since I can’t imagine she would stand down if she heard Seto bad-mouthing her brother, and that would be good practice for standing up for herself.  So overall I think it could be cute and good for them, but I don’t actively ship it right now since I think Trustshipping and Softshipping are better. :)  If you like Silentshipping, though, I highly recommend basically anything that kintatsujo draws, especially their YGO post-series comic since it has lots and lots of Silentshipping written really really well in my opinion.
This is my endgame pairing for Seto and Ishizu.  First off, both of these people understand the absolute importance of their family.  If you combined these two?  Good luck touching their combined family.  They are both also well versed in business and the corporate world, they know the tricks of working with people and thus are likely to not be completely convinced if the other says “they’re okay”, and realize that the other is definitely not okay.  What’s most important about this ship, I think, is the fact that Seto has never known what it means to be completely trusted.  When Ishizu says that she “trusts him” to change the future, I think this would be somewhat off-balancing for Seto.  He’s never had someone that would trust him before besides Mokuba, and that just seemed ordinary and natural to him since they were trusting each other to get through the same things.  But to have Ishizu say something like that?  To have the feeling that there is someone outside of his blood family that believes in him?  That’s different, that’s powerful.
I also think that Seto would be incredibly thrown off balance by Atem leaving.  He’s obviously something of an atheist or at least agnostic, so the idea of the afterlife is going to make him a little anxious.  Who better to go to for answers than Ishizu?  He would never trust Marik and doesn’t give a crap about Rishid, but Ishizu is someone that not only came to him first, but said that she trusted him.  Someone that can trust a person like Seto is someone that Seto will believe that he can trust, at least for something like this.  I feel like they could bond over this, slowly, but surely.  They’re both going to understand what it’s like to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, they’re both going to understand the feeling of failing to protect someone they cared about, and they’re, at the very least, going to be able to trust in the abilities of the other person to watch their backs during a crisis, and I really think that could develop into something more.
Bleh.  If Thief King wasn’t a total d***, maybe.  The thing is, Thief King is completely and absolutely obsessed with his revenge.  Maybe if Kul Elna hadn’t happened it would be possible but I don’t think I can even imagine who Bakura would have been without that defining trauma; it’s just too big a part of his personality that it’s too hard for me to figure him out without it.  Besides, I don’t usually work AU, so let’s just look at this pairing in the light of the canon.
It’s obvious that Kisara is a powerful character due to her dragon.  If the Millennium Priests could sense that, Thief King is probably going to sense it too, or Zorc is going to through him.  If they met before Kisara got to Set, Bakura is going to think that her power is something he can use.  He is going to try and manipulate her, and he might be pretty good at it.  He would find out her feelings for Set and would use those to turn her into his own weapon, feeding her some kind of lie that the pharaoh was planning on having Set executed or something.  So this relationship would be one of manipulation and lies, and it’s hard to tell by Kisara’s characterization if she would swallow those lies in the end.  Bakura does not seem capable of love, romantic, platonic or otherwise.  Any relationship Kisara has with him is not going to end well for her.
And this was my endgame for Shizuka even before Silentshipping, but it quickly fell out of favor with me.  I’ll explain why.
Honda, while a nice guy, granted, doesn’t seem to get that Shizuka is either too young to notice or not interested in his feelings anyway.  He’s kind of obsessive about her when it’s not clear that she cares that way back.  You might have seen theabcsofjustice’s recent liveblog of the episodes where Honda is trying to protect Shizuka during the duel with the robot guy, in the end putting the whole group in more danger because of it.  His feelings for her are clumsy and kind of annoying.  He’s obviously very, very nice to Shizuka and tries not to make her feel uncomfortable, but doesn’t always seem like he thinks about what her feelings might be.  See, for example, the time when he confronted Otogi and told him to lay off of her - like, dude, you didn’t have prior claim so you don’t get to tell him to stop flirting.  Shizuka gets to tell him to stop flirting if she wants him to. You’re not her keeper.
Anyway, in the end I don’t think Honda’s feelings towards her are healthy and I have yet to see evidence that she harbors similar feelings towards him, besides the obvious little-sisterly feelings she has.
This is Otogi x Vivian, right?  I don’t have many thoughts about it since I’ve never cared about Vivian.  She was kind of a pointless character who’s entire characterization was based around making her yet another unwanted love interest to Yugi.  Sure she’s dramatic and flamboyant enough to work well with Otogi, but I don’t know enough about her otherwise since I’ve never paid attention to her.
This is another Shizuka pairing that I don’t like.  For one thing, if it seemed like she didn’t have any romantic feelings towards Honda, then she had even less for Otogi.  Think about it, all the other girls that Otogi has met besides Anzu and Mai have been practically fawning over him with heart eyes and blushes, but he hasn’t really pursed them.  Shizuka, on the other hand, just seems very polite towards him whenever he flirts with her, with her kind smile and laughing nicely at his jokes.  No blushes or outward signs of romantic interest - and look, Otogi decides to pursue her.  Doesn’t he seem the type to only actively flirt with a girl when he hasn’t already won them over?  Which means that Shizuka probably isn’t very interested (starting to suspect the girl is ace or graysexual).
The only good thing about this pairing I can see is that, unlike Honda, Otogi knows to put his feelings aside when the need arises, making him much more mature and thus a better partner for Shizuka.  But Shizuka still doesn’t seem interested so I think eventually Otogi would know to lay off.
