Hmmm...I prefer past tense, but I do love a challenge of present tense.

4: what are some themes you love writing about?

*laughs* There are a variety of themes I like to play with, but mostly themes involving family/friends, love, and themes involving past, present, and future.

8: is there a character you love writing for the most? the least? why?

Fave: my boys (Raphael, Valon, Alister), Rishid, Polar babsLeast fave: any time I have to introduce toxic characters into the mix, such as Raphael’s relatives.

s-so many choices!! Um….I think I’ll go with Gentle this time, ‘cause aquaburst07 asked for this one too I’d do Nell but they’re still kidlins and if I do older!AU I’ll break my heart…knowing my luck someone’s gonna ask aren’t they?

Who:

falls asleep on the couch: Valon because this boy can sleep anywhere. He waits up for Serenity to come back from night classes, but there are days he can’t stay awake (and there are days Serenity’s like look a giant pillow i’ll just casually squeeze myself in whatever space is left on the sofa he won’t mind)

makes friends with the neighbors: Both of them, because Valon’s naturally sociable and Serenity needs to have someone make sure Valon doesn’t burn the apartment down while she’s at the university make acquaintances

is the adventurous eater: Serenity - Valon has only just barely started having success in the kitchen and she doesn’t have the heart to turn up her nose at whatever he makes for her usually burnt, potentially moving if poked. He gets better as time goes on, but let it never be said that Serenity isn’t brave.

hogs the covers at night: Serenity, because Valon’s a restless sleeper and frankly she wants to actually stay warm at night.

forgets to do breaks all the dishes: Both of them are terrible and many a plate and glass have fallen to their deaths at their hands.

tries to surprise their partner more often: *helpless laugh* Serenity’s perpetually curious and open to anything, and Valon’s a never ending stream of questions and let’s go do this thing righ’ now ‘cause i’ve never tried it and why not??

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Valon, much to Serenity’s displeasure. She descends on fallen clothing with a vengeance, and once it was so bad that Valon nearly lost half his clothes when Serenity put it in a trashbag and threatened to put it at the curb.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Serenity, but that’s mostly because of her classes and she’s up doing homework. Valon will stay up with her sometimes if he’s awake when she comes back from university.

sings in the shower: Valon. He’s a wee bit tone deaf, but it’s not unpleasant and it’s better than the alarm clock.

takes the selfies: Valon one day discovers snapchat, and since then has gotten extraordinarily good at selfies.

plans date night: They write ideas, places, and times on different scraps of paper, divide them into jars based on categories, and every Friday night they draw to see where they’re going. 

For Ellie:

12:  At least one thing that they tend to overreact to

When she was a very young girl one of her cousins accidentally locked her in a seldom used wardrobe at her grandparent’s house, and there had been a rather unchecked moth infestation going on in there. She wasn’t in there for very long, but it was more than enough for her. As a result Ellie despises moths. Like, she’ll legit shriek and run from the room if there’s one around (she might even cry, poor baby). Butterflies are a completely different story, but moths…not so much.

19: Is there anything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about?

The moment someone makes one of her loved ones uncomfortable, unhappy, or they try shaming one of them, that person is considered literal trash. There’s no amount of bargaining or bribing that will ever make her like the offending individual again.

Ellie also does not cheat if she’s in a relationship. Period. If she’s dating someone, she’s only dating that one person until she hears or says otherwise; Ellie’s seen what cheating can do and she’s not about to inflict that kind of betrayal on people.

For Thomas:

18: Are they ever a pushover about something? If so, how?

Honestly, no. Thomas is the type who is very secure about what he can and can’t do, as well as being secure his beliefs. He generally doesn’t budge no matter how much you push at him - once his mind’s made up, look out.

19: Is there anything they refuse to budge on? What are they stubborn about?

His name is Thomas. Not Tom, not Tommy. Just Thomas. He’ll eat you with sriracha sauce if you try giving him nicknames.

Also, no matter how much his mother begs, Thomas is proud to work alongside Uncle Roland as part of Seto Kaiba’s security detail. He’s even been shot before, and despite his mama’s cajoling Thomas is going to stay right where he is as a bodyguard; he’d be a cop if it wasn’t for his dad’s death and if it wasn’t for the fact his mother would have a heart attack his father was a police officer who was killed in the line of duty so his mom is understandably unhappy of the idea that Thomas has a semi-dangerous job

29: Favorite Movie?

HELP I HAVE NO ABSOLUTE FAVORITE???? Lion King/virtually any Disney movie definitely has a place in my heart, as does Howl's Moving Castle. How to Train Your Dragon (both), as well as Tokyo Godfathers, the LOTR series, and Band of Brothers.

81: What type of music do you like?

Anything! If it has a beat I listen to it, haha!

Gentleshipping, or Valon/Serenity (when Serenity is older). My ship is so tiny you could call it a canoe.

S: What's a headcanon you have?

Right. Um. How about Jou being the one who teaches Serenity how to walk in heels because their mother doesn't wear them and Mai wasn't around at the time.
