Mastershipping: Duke Devlin x Seto Kaiba

They're both inventors, they're both businessmen, and they've both got Daddy Issues. All Yugioh characters have daddy issues. I think they're a fantastic pairing, and @theduchessofboredom has written a fantastic slow burn longfic for them, Common Ground, that I highly recommend for anyone even mildly interested in this ship. 🩷

Chaseshipping: Duke Devlin x Tristan Taylor

They're chasing the same girl because they want to be chasing each other and don't know how. Bugging each other is how they show affection until they figure out how to use their words.

Diceshipping: Duke Devlin x Yami Bakura

Imagine if Yami Bakura had sunk his teeth into Duke when he was still in his villain arc? That possibility plays out very differently depending on if you're talking manga verse or anime verse, but they've both got that same kind of cocky confidence. I haven't seen any fics for them that get real gritty or anything like that, but I would really love one.

Fameshipping: Duke Devlin x Mai Valentine

They're both proud, stylish, competent duelists and I feel like they could play off each other really well and match each other's fabulousness. Plus, they both have a taste for convertibles.

what happens if you put two snarky guys with stubborn attitudes and killer glares? You get these two. really, most of their interaction is Bakura mocking Duke and Duke 'kindly' telling Bakura to mind his own business. can you imagine what would happen if those two actually worked together? you either end up dead, or you're never going to recover the confidence in the insults they will throw at you.

The duo and the whole school will fawn over and fear at the same time. it would be such a fantastic disaster.
