You write about a character making him grow up as a miserable man and you end up becoming a miserable woman as well as a punishment. So if my Junpei is <<Il saltimbanco dell’anima sua>>, like Aldo Palazzeschi would say, then I am one as well and I will spend my life having fun in the most stupid ways, without caring.

So yeah, I have artistically disappeared for a month *for reasons*, but I promise I’ve been drawing and writing a lot and the fact is just that it took me a while to scheme this…Thing.

A Nausicaa enjoyer shipping a Wind woman warrior and a bug humanoid thing made of metal? One who is the reincarnation of a bug monster that generated all the bugs existing in Digiworld???? They undeniably are the hallucinating chimera dream that was born from ages spent worshipping that masterpiece.

I think someday I will eventually redraw my Rapsodia Fairymon by giving homages to my favourite Miyazaki girl ever. I have been spinning the idea of giving her similar boots not to totally kick the suspenders away and maybe more details here and there. Fairymon’s design is so interesting, I will die on this hill, and I will also bet there is some Nausicaa in the sci-fi vibes they wanted to recreate, since animators took inspiration from that movie to create Wormmon apparently. At this point, I could also end up coming up with a real AU lmao, who knows. I can’t stop.

In truth he is an animal dad because, again, golems/cyborg creatures x animals is such a beautiful concept and if you remember Ancientbeatmon’s lair is hidden in a beautiful forest… I MEANNNN. But I especially love him being a cat dad because:

• He should be minimally close to Loweemon and this gives me dramatically stupid ideas about how this cat thing might start from his friendship with him. He’s dead in my stuff, just like Kouichi because there’s a pinch of Digimon Survive in my head MAYBE, so Blitzmon kinda misses his pal from the Light Trio as much as Junpei misses Kouichi everyday.

• Ophanimon is a dog, but then, all of a sudden, she is a cat too, you want it or not. And in my silly AU, similarly to how Izumi mistakes Junpei for a fanboy of that ice skater, while, instead he’s got it so badly for her, Fairymon is convinced Blitzmon has got a lil crush on Ophanimon. This idea came from the fact that Blitzmon was one of the spirits Ophanimon took care of, one of those things I wish they had treated better in Frontier. Yet, nono, it’s a misunderstanding lol. He might get a bit abashed in front of Her, but Blitzmon is hopelessly devoted to Fairymon, ok…

(Intermezzo)

So when Ophanimon, *puffs* , turns into a Tailmon, Blitzmon becomes enamoured with her in a new brand sense.

•… Add that NOW Cendrillmon, a Digimon I added in Rapsodia just because I liked her, will turn into a cat in her alternate Mega evolution and ?!?) I’d explode???

• Last but not least importantly, Blitzmon canonically dislikes water ansajj vi nakaja🤣🤣. I mean, it does make sense: he’s a cyborg and water would slip into his engines, would totally break him. This allows me to imagine deep conversations he would have with cats about how much he hates water.

Junpei: Ma che cazzo…? What in the hell are y’all meowing about at midnight, I’m sorry? Blitzmon, have you started meowing now too? Man, I beg you…

Blitzmon: We’re talkin’ about how heartless y’are, makin’these cats have a bath today.

Junpei: Do you want to see how heartless Izuzu becomes when she spots prints of mud on her favourite carpet? No, you don’t, trust me.

Blitzmon: They’re truly disappointed in ya Junpei. How could ya?”

I’m having lot of feelings about Fairyblitz like always. Writing about them just gets them more serious and PATHOLOGICAL. Yet, I’ve been having ton of feelings for “FMA” too, not that I rarely have got them, but sometimes they are stronger than usual ok. It just takes to listen to some opening and ending and BOOM, I will plunge even deeper in “FMA”. I might…Listen to “Again” for 19 times while drawing this and I still want to.

Anyway, it’s not the first time I put Blitzmon and Al together in a post. I had never taken him as inspiration for Blitzmon, but here are we. And Fairymon and Winry? Honestly, I had never thought it would happen, but AGAIN, here are we. I had no serious intention with this, it’s just a sketch, but I put thought in making Fairymon look more composed than Winry. She is the lady of control, after all, and if there’s something she has got control on is Blitzmon and his dramatic antics.

I love you people have understood my mcs are all girls and women Ilmaamnajsja. Tbh it's not true. My MCs are all a couple of girl and boy because FE Sacred Stones rules. But when it comes to Fairymon, the writers themselves helped me understand she would just be the lead in an adventure, and Blitzmon would follow her because he is this lady's useless bodyguard.

Anyway, while the Queenbeemon thing was pretty much a joke, there is no DOUBT about the Digimon I NEED in my Blitzmon's line. As a Trascendent. Let me dream a bit, ok? It's my stuff and I can do whatever I want to do.

So, if Blitzmon teaches Fairymon strength and strategy, Fairymon both teaches and gives him control (remember Shutumon?), and this allows him to acceed to his trascendent evolution in Shivamon. And tbh I just want to bite my nails at how perfect Shivamon is for Blitzmon's line, (he has also got a worm acting as a scarf), AND Junpei too. He's got emotional intelligence and, in my opinion he is the kind of kid who will grow into one of those characters who spit pearl of wisdom out of blue, exactly like he does in the bonfire scene.

[ In truth not really, because the bg will change and I will add more to it. Lmao I’m sounding dramatic, but I’ve loved working on this and I will love working on the Fairyblitz part equally. Drawing is not studying, so any challenge is accepted here. ]

Tinkermon and Kokabuterimon aka shrunk Fairymon and Blitzmon 🍃⚡️. I have got all my theories and headcanons about them for stories. Just know, -some already do at this point-, that in my brain’s world the spirits will finally meet their adults kids again and finally they will be able to start living together, at the cost of *shrinking*, *bbyzing* (no XDDDD), and when it comes to Blitzmon, of losing his MIGHT (and his lightning, but that’s a detail Junpei is frankly glad about, since it’s already maddening to deal with this being’s pride).
