This is not really an excuse for having posted this today lol. I swear, I have got ideas and I will post them whenever I finish drawing this mess, because guess what? Whenever that day is, it will still be Women’s day🫵🏻. ]

I took a cute standee of Mitsuki’s (Project Sekai), because my bestie showed her to me long time ago and I wanted to draw Ran in that pose so much! Still, I’ve ended up changing the reference a bit too much, so at this point I’m just talking about it: it isn’t a redraw like the one I had in mind——-.

Btw I would love finding another Marie as reference for some next drawing from this piece. I mean, HERE she is strutting bad french. If I don’t put an Aristocats reference here, where else am I supposed to add one?

It has recently been La Scala Prima (on the 7th), so I was in the mood to draw some Ran going to opera with Papà and stealing his spotlight among his colleagues (she wishes).

The truth is that her attentions exclusively are on Papá’s ambitious soprano partner aka Chiaki. Ran didn’t get enough from having been drily told she sings as well as a drunk bell. She’s going for it again, and now in the company of bad french (because smh if I sent Junpei and Izumi to Italy, Chiaki ended up in France with Teruo. I discarded the NY idea FOR REASONS. I love you, Chiaki).

Here it’s La Scala, I suppose, because I like the idea of Junpei wanting to take family around every existing theatre, just to find himself always sticking with Ran lol. Milanese adventure for the theatre creatures.
