I saw a video of a student who is graduating from college with a fantastic GPA despite having to take a class 4 times, which I think is ridiculous. But it got me thinking… Why did you fail a class?
I didn't do the work
The professor hated me for an unknown reason
The professor hated me for a known reason
I hated the class and didn't bother even going
I hated the professor
Professor didn't know how to teach
The professor's teaching style and my learning style didn't match
I really tried but just couldn't get the material
I never failed a class in my life
I want to push a button/never went to college (and that's okay!)
Do I think a class can to too hard? Yes, and they shouldn't be. I am in the camp of if most of the students failed a class, that's not a thing to be proud of and I have seen stories and heard accounts from students whose professors were like that.
(I am not a well known and popular blogger so I will be surprised if I get even one response, but I am curious.)
EDIT: Damn, I can't change the poll once published. If you have an "other" story and want to share, please reblog with it!
