Have you ever heard of the โLittle Bastardโ? It was a Porsche 550 Spyder owned by actor James Dean, which got into a tragic accident shortly after it was purchased, ultimately taking Deanโs life. But thatโs just where the creepy stories begin. After the crash, it was purchased by George Barris, maker of the Bat Mobile, to display it to the public, but on its way it mysteriously slipped off the flatbed and broke the mechanicโs leg. He then sold the engine and transmission to two different race car drivers to build their own cars. But BOTH cars resulted in their own separate crashes, leaving one dead, and another seriously injured. Frightened by what was going on, Barris decided to stow the car away, only to be convinced by a safety organization to use the car for a traveling show to caution drivers to slow down. After the first show, the garage the car was stowed in ended up burning to the ground. Whatโs even creepier was that the car was unscathed. These tragic events continued killing and injuring more and more people until in 1960, during transport to Miami, the car just vanished and it hasnโt been seen since. Being a car guy myself, this is certainly one of the creepiest stories in car culture. It also happens to be one of the more mysterious and paranormal. ๐ป Todayโs #3fpfactsfriday is brought to you by ๐ฆ! ๐ป . . . . #paranormal #hauntedhollywood #factsfriday #ghoststory #paranormalactivity #spooky #haunted #jamesdean #ShortStory #goth #batmobile #porsche550spyder #cursedcars #christine #stephenking #horror #folklore #urbanlegend (at James Dean Memorial Highway) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHip-ogpzhB/?igshid=1nzwia0o408ua
