Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II naval 5th generation fighter jet displaying corrosion in its RAM (radiation-absorbent material) coating.
The corrosion itself is mostly cosmetic as doesnโt affect much its stealth characteristics, but it does require a higher level of care than normal aircraft paints, hence the increase costs in maintenance.
