Peyton excused herself to fix her dress, something about it wasn’t quite right and the left shoulder kept falling down. Once she was hidden, she pulled out the extra bobby pins she kept in her bracelet. “Jesus.” She said underneath her breath as she took in how many secruity guards were there and tried to fix it with her mask on. She placed a lot of bobby pins into the dress, let out a breath when the shoulder wasn’t falling down but she didnt realize that she was backing into someone. When she felt she bumped into someone, she let out a small oh, and turned around. “Im so sorry. I was trying to fix my dress and I didn’t know that I was backing into you.” She reached up and adjusted her mask, making sure that didn’t fall either. “I think I’ll take this time to go back to the party, so please enjoy yourself.”

Brie had, for the most part, been living with her head in the clouds since she’d returned to Bayview - she’d spent a fabulous day at the carnival, celebrating her birthday and now, she got to kick off Halloween month decorating with one of her very favorite people. She couldn’t wait to see Emma and hear all about her and Taylor’s upcoming parenthood. Her hands were a little full though, between cupcakes and decorations, she didn’t have a free hand to open the door, and had to use her hip instead,  but as soon as she was inside and got a whiff of that bookstore smell she immediately recalled why this was one of her favorite spots in all of Bayview. Spotting her friend near the front counter, she headed that direction, a full and bright smile spreading across her face as she approached “Hey, mama-to-be!” she greeted cheerfully.

Drew settled quickly into the sofa across from Sharna, wine glass in one hand and a nervous smile on her lips “So we agree, then?” she asked cautiously, not wanting to jump the gun or put words in the other woman’s mouth “The spot in the Grove seems perfect for what we’re looking for, right?” She’d been down this road before, starting a new business, but it never ceased to excite her and get her energy up a little, even with the glass of rosé  to help. @sharnamayxo

Parker placed Ethan’s gift from her onto the table of presents, she had to keep herself busy and pushed away the emotions. She let out a breath as she started to stack the gifts on top of each other, hoping that they weren’t breakable. She started to sing along with song.

“Alright, pops, you’ve almost survived the whole bloody weekend with us two wankers. I think you’ve earned a couple pints and maybe a nice, relaxing soak in one of these big fancy tubs, yeah? First round on me?”

Rachel glanced down as she positioned her mask on her nose, feeling a lot like herself again. She walked outside, leaned against the door as she stared ahead and feeling the cold air brush against her skin as the wind picked up slightly. She turned around and stopped when she was met with someone. “Oh, Im sorry. I didn’t know that anyone else was out here.”  She gave them a smile as she stepped out of the view.

There were exactly forty days left until Christmas and the countdown was officially on. It had been a few weeks since her show had wrapped on it’s second season and she’d thought she’d have so much time to prepare, but here she was, mid-November and she still hadn’t gotten a single gift for anyone. The news of the Christmas Shoppe opening up in The Village had been music to her ears, especially since she’d convinced Chris he should join for a day of shopping so she could try and put a dent in her Santa List while enjoying some more of his company. It was chilly, but not quite freezing out when she spotted him moments after arriving at their agreed upon meeting point and she waved her hand over her head to get his attention and ensure he spotted her. “Hey!” she greeted him with a warm smile and leaned in to give him a hug “I almost didn’t recognize you without all the fur.” she teased. @krispinot

Drew was still feeling the effects of too much turkey and pie from the previous day, but with the girls off with their father for the weekend, she figured she should take advantage of the alone time, and sales (celebrity or not, she appreciated a good deal), and get some of her Christmas shopping done. Frankie and Olive were obviously her priority - they always were - but she’d been putting things aside for them since July, so they were all but wrapped up. There were other people who’d come into her life more recently though that she was determined to find the quote unquote perfect gift for. And that was proving a tougher task as she made her way through the various shops, navigating through the swarms of people who’d also decided to make the most of the day. “I’m so sorry!” she exclaimed genuinely when her shoulder knocked against another’s, looking up to spot a somewhat familiar face. She’d been a fan of some of the brunette’s work previously, but had recently spotted her around town. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to introduce herself, Drew immediately smiled “Lara, right?” she asked “I’m Drew!” @bayviewlara
