Oh, she’s also crushing on a tall, dashing, idiot pilot called Sic who belongs to @cosmicsynthetics

Some early concept art for a few more FNI/Irkscrap characters who are part of Tallest Ergo’s Greasemonkey camp.  TOP: Grease Cogs (Grease is a classifier in their group, kind of like “invader” or “table drone”. It’s just a basic one that says that you’re a Greasemonkey). I’ll elaborate on him more when he has a proper ref, but basically he’s an irken that Ergo’s group found while they were out scrapping. He dug his way out of the ground, but came out without “the whole of irken knowledge” pre-uploaded into his pak like most irkens. This was likely a side-effect of him being born after the coring event. Because of this, the Greasemonkies have had to school Cogs much more manually, but they still like to have him around, and their Tallest feels kind of responsible for him because he WAS the one to approach him first. BOTTOM LEFT and BOTTOM RIGHT: Two more Greasemonkies who need a lot more development. They’re based on leftover adopts from an ancient Deviantart account of mine.

I wanted to make the firing sequence look a bit more dynamic, but honestly I was having a hard time co-ordinating my layers at that point, so I just tried to make something finished. I also just binge-read through all the current IZ comic issues, it probably shows since all I’ve posted lately is fan irken characters huh? whoops... 

I’ve been sitting on this metric ton of sketches for awhile now; I’d been trying to get some other stuff out of the way before posting them, so I consider them mostly out of date but still fun enough to show you guys! 

The two au tallest Ergo and Iam belong to @cosmicsynthetics!

These are actually kinda old! I don’t -think- I ever put them up, but they’re actually AU versions of Orwurm and @cosmicsynthetics‘ Malkul! Orwurm would still totally be a short-ass garbage goblin tv celebrity and announcer, and Mal would still be worryingly tall. Also secretly a totally different kind of alien, that didn’t change either hehe. One idea is that he might be a Meekrob possessing a  blank PAK- I think that would be a fun premise to play with. c:

I just wanted to animate something so I don’t forget how to do it- This is super rough and I totally half assed the talking (didn’t even make new frames properly or chin movement) still, it’s nice to experiment with this character, since he’s new and I haven’t narrowed down his exact personality yet!
