Morning Playtime by David & Shiela Glatz Via Flickr: Bundles of energy, Black Bear (Ursus americanus) cubs sometimes seem to be in a state of perpetual motion. This spring cub was playing with its sibling while their mother fed nearby. When it stopped briefly to stand and assess the play situation, the cub heard strange noises - our camera shutters snapping away - and checked us out. The bear was jolted back into play with a bite from its sibling. Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary, Orr, Minnesota.
