Extragate crumbs in 5x08
One thing I noticed rewatching the graduation scenes (as one does), is that there is an extra who features in both the shots behind the party + behind Stacey and her friends while they're talking.
Could this sunglasses dude being in two places at once just be a production error? Absolutely.
And maybe it is just the recovering extragate enthusiast in me, who knows that the production keeps track of the extras in the background between shots for the sake of continuity, that doesn't want to totally write this off as accidental.
If this guy was only in one or two of the shots in this sequence, I might be able to write it off as an error that they maybe quickly corrected, but he's in nearly all of the shots outside of a few close-ups, where you can even still see a bit of him directly behind Mike. In fact, in most of the shots of the party he is behind Mike.
When I saw this, I figured why not go back and try to see where this extra is earlier during the graduation ceremony, because maybe this is it and there really is nothing to it...
And I shit you not.
Right behind Ted Wheeler... Right right.
Well, we can just add it to the list of production errors/coincidences if it makes no difference to any of you.
