ASSESSMENT 3: EXPERIMENT 4
~ For this test I wanted to explore the idea of repetition as a tool by digitally manipulating (at a very basic level) images of a page of workings from maths tutorials. Mainly using examples from algebra, lots of matrices and some binomial expansions- both very structurally repetitive. I took photos of a few sections from my book and made the background transparent in order to layer just the written stuff. To layer, I just let the computer decide on what order/pattern- using the command “c”/command “v” keys the images layered themselves in this really cool progressive format that I ended up really liking. I also like the way new patterns and structures emerge as the actual content becomes blurred and unrecognisable.
