I really like how awful Matthaus is in the new chapter. Those faces work well with his character and I like how Takumi is unnerved by his actions. I feel bad for Scarlet, Benoit, Elise, and Anri. Also I have a good idea of who that water maiden is, but I don't want to spoil it.

All the necromancy that is going on in this au would make Lyon (from FE8) a happy man. Speaking of necromancy the water maiden idea is becoming really creepy now.
On the upside, Anri is still fairly human compared to Lyonās dad, so long as Azura continues to have a good conscience like her mother did. Garon isnāt as lucky with Anankos tugging on his leash. Iām starting to wonder if Mikoto would have tried the same with Sumeragi if she recovered his body. In some ways, water maidens are sort of like lichs.I guess if you want to be powerful to bring people back from the dead, thereās got to be some sort of equivalent price.
Along with Anri and Azura's fallout I'm interested in what happened between Garon and Xander. It looks like they had a fallout too.
Xander is presented with conclusive evidence that Garon is no longer fit to rule much earlier in the plot. He then decides to act independently of his fatherās orders after another assassination attempt in Mokushu that nearly took his and Anriās life. He hopes to intercept Garon and Iagoās forces before they hit Fort Jinya, but that proves to be difficult when his father actually accounted for the fact that he could go rogue. The only exception now is that he doesnāt account on Anri succeeding on forming an alliance with Hoshidan forces, and Azura.
I like to imagine that Khalid can do all the tricks on his wyverns. I love the idea of him teaching his brown wyvern, Khosrow (who's male and is also known as Khoshi) and his white wyvern, Roshanak (who's female and is also known as Roshie) (yes Khalid loves to nickname his wyverns you can't stop him) while spoiling them, talking to them when especially when he has a bad day, and making sure that they can make it through every part of the war.

Hello I am new to to FFXIV and so far I like it. I have a quick question. What server do you like to play on and are there any that you didn't like? I am on Goblin and I haven't had issues so far but I am curious.

As of now, all of my experiences in XIV have been on the Aether data center. I began my Eorzean journey on Adamantoise and have since moved to Balmung.
Balmung is among the most popular servers for those on Tumblr, and itās hands-down the busiest server in the game. Until very recently, it was considered aĀ ācongestedā server and closed to any new entrants for months. It's also recognized as a hub for roleplay, but it certainly isnāt the only place to go if youāre interested in roleplay: Mateus and Jenova have pretty active roleplaying communities, but chances are good that youāll be able to find engaging roleplay on any server if youāre persistent.
I originally left Adamantoise years ago because I wanted to found my own roleplay-focused free company on Balmung; while I am still awed at the sheer number of vulgarities I saw in Adamantoiseās /shout chats that I hadnāt seen since middle school (or have seen again since), itās a great server with good and fun-loving people. And as you play the game, youāll find a lot of silly stereotypes based on how other servers are perceived - Balmungās roleplayers are āspecial snowflakes,ā Gilgameshās hardcore raiders are ātry-hardsā, et cetera - but generally speaking, theyāre not based in fact.
I personally enjoy busier servers. Back when I was working overnights and Iād log into XIV at eight in the morning, I loved being able to go onto Balmung and still find others walking through Eorzea, and thatās stuck with me since then. Others feel differently: they like having less competition for things like in-game housing or free company notoriety, and thatās also perfectly valid!
But Iād say to take your time and figure out what feels right for you. Experiment a bit with alts if youāre able, maybe hunt around for a free company or other community, and figure out what helps you feel at home. If youāre still having trouble, Iād be more than happy to help you connect with people looking for new members!
I finally read the newest chapter of IAWG and I really liked it. The Hinoka/Marxander development was nice and it was great to see him take her ideas more seriously now. Also I like that scene between Marxander and the Ice Tribe twins. It's obvious that there are a lot of problems but I will have hope. Also sorry for the late reply.

Lateness I donāt mind (Iām more sad about the commenters who seem to love it one chapter then disappear into the mists forever) Ch19 was definitely to show that Hinoka and Marx are making progress in their relationship, with Hin actively trying to contribute and as you said Marx give her more of a due. Iām glad you liked Flora and Feliciaās scene! I was actually really curious what you in particular would think of itā¦ Iām trying to give their entire situation as hostages a more serious treatment, and would love to hear your thoughts so far on it.
