Yesterday I realized that you can’t see the gifs of them chilling on my profile without an account, so I’ve compiled the robots into one gif :]
Kohn's profile as of 4/10/26 under the cut! I’ll only be updating the descriptions on Artfight.
Character Profile
Curt and intense, Kohn is the most hostile robot that pursues the player through the ruins of the outer streets. As the leader of the patrols, he’s both strong and highly intelligent.
Although he remains distrustful of the player for the entirety of the game, Kohn is well respected among the robots, if a little intimidating. Those who work more closely with him will assure you that he’s actually quite reasonable despite his outward appearance.
Kohn lurks everywhere, but most of his time is spent patrolling the outer streets. Between shifts, he can be found instructing guards in the repurposed factory base, asking about stock in the warehouse, and having repairs done in Channelle's workshop.
Relationships
Channelle - TLDR, best buddies and confidants.
They are extremely close, sharing many of the same views and a generally dry personality off the clock. The two frequently seek each other’s company to talk, both for leisure and regarding work, but are just as comfortable hanging out in silence.
They also work on a side project together that the player can piece together through the environment. Kohn approached her about creating a leg model that other robots could use to replace faulty limbs. The two have since continued to develop and test duplicates of the current model he uses in their spare time.
Garrett - They’ve known each other for years and while friendly, as co-workers tend to be, they’re more work acquaintances than friends. While they encounter each other regularly they have difficulty holding an amiable conversation for long.
Still, Kohn views Garrett favorably. He appreciates Garrett's dependability and can respect his distaste for violence despite their disagreements over Kohn’s use of the latter.
Kohn occasionally asks him for advice on how to be more approachable to newer scouts, though he's hard pressed to admit it. He also lingers in the area when Garrett plays guitar. While he's just 'passing through', he seems to enjoy the music.
Sydney - His work partner/protégé. His patrol group has four robots total, but they usually split into two duos for pursuits.
Trivia:
- While he stands stock still at rest, he’s very reactive. He may impulsively crush things in his hands at loud noises and become snappy at false alarms. Kohn keeps an even temper in most other circumstances.
- He’s light for his height, like a scarecrow, and is built for speed. Channelle and other workers can, and have, half-dragged half-carried him back to the base when injured.
- Kohn is instinctively physical. He’d rather grab you by the shoulders to turn you towards a target instead of wasting time explaining it to you. Unfortunately, this doesn’t combine with his clawed hands very well.
- Kohn does his laundry the most among anyone in the group. This is usually due to blood and grime.
- He has worn giant oven mittens over his hands while helping Sydney with stray dogs in the past.
- He has a pair of indoor/standard legs for day to day life around the base. He just never uses them during the game’s events due to being on high alert.

It's been a while since i've done any digital art (or much art at all) so i'm trying to get back into the swing of things. We <3 pinstripe, ty alias for making him exist
Channelle! The lil animation was to test giving her expressions different loading speeds since her head is an old computer model.
I was really excited and drew it all tonight, but I’m going to try to hold myself back now. I’ll be back in a week!
Design ramble under cut (like what the grey is).
The grey stuff’s because the shirt is worn down/has cleaned up burns/stains/whatever since she’s overworked, but tries to stay clean. Also, the bottom most purple line is meant to be a optical drive slot. But older. It opens. You put data discs in? Like old old data storage things? She downloads. Yeah.
My idea for the bottom right expression is that her neck is made of something like wires or metal beams? Haha. I liked the vibes and it made sense somehow.
Those blue things on her shirt are pockets. They just look a bit awkward, whoops.
The dots on the back of her head are ports/sockets. The purple on the side of her head is a vent! Hue’s rendition of it is literally it.
Anyhow, I don’t actually know tech stuff. I just do random research so things hopefully look cool.

I’ve been chipping at Garrett’s reference sheets for a few days and now it’s done!
Visit his Artfight profile for the most up to date description, this one is from 4/10/26!
EVITOM (overall story context)
The setting is similar to Fallout 4's aesthetics and tech limitations (Mid 1900s, max 1960s). I like to imagine the story and characters within the format of a side scrolling video game.
All characters mutated from humans to different forms around a decade ago. The robots lives separate from the others in a factory town. The other characters tend to believe the robots have never been human and have killed them out of fear or to sell off their parts. As a result, the robots will chase anyone who's organic out of the area, often violently, to deter them from returning.
Character Profile
Fondly nostalgic of the past and just trying to have a good time, Garrett’s an emotional anchor among the robots who guides the newer ones around.
He’s also one of the more immediately friendly robots to the player. He’ll help you catalogue cassettes and play them for you, even if it’s newer technology than the vinyls he prefers to collect. As the robots have changed over time and become more accepting of their circumstances, he can't help but feel uncomfortable however...isn't it best to cling to your humanity?
Garrett’s doesn’t venture far from the main factory. He can be found talking with groups of robots at the base, chaperoning kids in the overgrown streets nearby, assisting the warehouse workers, and comforting patients in Channelle's workshop.
Side note: It may be hard to tell due to the background color, but his head's light gray.
Relationships
Channelle - They get along well and he drops by often, since Channelle’s ‘doctor’ role involves robots who need a teacher or just someone to keep them company. He chats, plays music, and sometimes pats the hands of nervous patients to comfort them (like a kind nurse).
Garrett openly admires and approaches her for help with some of the more technical lessons he teaches. Sadly, the advanced stuff is pretty out of his wheelhouse. He fixes things around her workspace when he can as a little 'thank you' though, mostly shelves and fans, and helps carry things about.
Kohn - They’ve known each other for years and while friendly, as co-workers tend to be, they’re not especially close. Garrett’s usually the one that initiates interactions, as he checks in on the crew when they return from patrolling and helps them store loot in the warehouse.
While Garrett thinks he's overly harsh and disapproves of what Kohn does, he can't deny the necessity of the role. They still argue about the darker side of Kohn's work on the occasion, where Garrett pushes for less severe methods that Kohn dismisses as ineffective.
Trivia:
- His collection of old items is very well organized. Some things he has includes: a bunch of vinyls, a gramophone, a dartboard…there’s a jukebox in the factory common area he adores.
- It's rare to catch him alone, as he prefers to hang around people. If you do, he hums to himself while moving about. He may get spooked from being talked to if he’s done it long enough to get lost in his thoughts.
- Decently adept at sewing. He helps out the others with fixing their clothes, such as stitching the tears in Kohn’s ratty coat now and then.
- He can pop out the cassette tape in his head and replace it, but he’ll turn away to do so, as he's uncomfortable with how the process looks to others. When the tape in his head is playing he can’t talk.
- Due to being quite large and wearing a thick bomber jacket, he heats up quickly. He has a basic white shirt or tank top underneath (artist’s choice). You can make him emit smoke/steam.
As thanks for reading, here’s a goofy doodle that I made dance while working on the sheet.
Trolley Conductor (more info below) and a lil sprite updating as I mess around!
@warddokteur helped with a ton of sprite poses and @hammiart helped suggest colors for the Conductor!
Trolley Conductor’s an NPC for fast travel in the city! They’re based on a mannequin, but the bottom stand acts as a lever (which in turn acts like a gear stick). The stuff in their pockets are maps, I had to remove the ticket roll from the initial concept art since it’d be too much to animate/keep track of.
I love to imagine that you can talk with the characters in the trolley (Ward has a really fun OC who sits in the back) while waiting to get to your stop! Still getting used to the side perspective though, so designing the interior’s out of my league right now.
