this evening I phoned one of my best friends @evening-knights as my gorgeous new mare Picasso arrived at the stables last night and I wanted to take her out for a hack today to get used to her surroundings! Atta said she’d trailer over her gelding Utopia to accompany me and Picasso on our hack!
Once she arrived and unloaded Utopia, we tacked up and headed off! Picasso was pretty eager to get going but wasn’t bad! We even went down the beach by the Hermit’s house and I took her for a gallop on the sand, all I can say is she’s definitely got power to her! Utopia and Atta also had a good gallop, honestly he’s such a handsome gelding!
After playing around at the beach, we headed home and had one more gallop through the open grassy land! We got back with two very tired and sweaty horses, so we untacked them and sponged them off. Atta decided to stay the night as it was a long drive back to Dundull, so we popped both the horses out in the paddock and headed back to the house!
