Hi there bluecreationdefendor-blog! I love this idea so much ❤ Sadly I could find very little about Heat, both on the wiki page as well as in other fics, so I hope this isn’t ooc! 

Kid: 

The first time you kissed his hand, Kid though you were making fun of him and started insulting you. It was a very awkward moment when you admitted it wasn’t to make fun of him, but that was just your way of expressing yourself. Kid was horribly embarrassed.

He is not fond of your habit. It’s not that he cares about traditional gender roles in a relationship, not at all, but he thinks it’s embarrassing. He tries not to make a big deal about it though. If this is how you express yourself, who is he to judge or stop you? He has no problems with it when you do that to any other people in the crew to display your appreciation though.

So he tries to not let it bother him. He knows you mean it as a good thing, and he tries to take it as that. In a way he does, he realizes what you mean every time you kiss his hand, but he still gets a little flustered every time.

Of course, for you, that’s just another reason to keep on doing it. It’s funny when his face turns as red as his hair. The crew loves seeing his reaction too, it never fails to make everyone laugh, even if Kid threatens to kill them all for it.

He does like to return the gesture every now and again though. Only when it’s just the two of you, away from prying eyes. He likes to make moments like these a little cheesy, such as when it just the two of you on the deck at night, nothing but the moon illuminating your faces. He’ll gently take your hand with his, press a short kiss on it, looking you in the eyes as he does so, grinning at your reaction as he pulls away from your hand.

Kid is a secret softie and nobody can convince me otherwise 😤

 Killer:

Killer seems to not react to your display of affection. His body language doesn’t change, he doesn’t say anything, he doesn’t pull his hand away, nothing. That’s because he actually freezes up, and he is definitely blushing behind that mask of his. You just did what?

He doesn’t care much about gender roles in a relationship either, just like Kid, but he didn’t expect you to pull something like this. And it honestly flatters him. A hand kiss can signify a lot of things, but in a relation, it means something along the lines of respect, admiration, or devotion towards that person. To him, it shows how deep your feelings for him run.

Killer can get a bit jealous when you do it to others though. He won’t interfere, nor will he actually comment on it at any moment, but he is just a tad bit grumpy when that happens. It’s honestly adorable. Kid loves teasing him about it.

He tries to return the gesture sometimes... but he tends to forget he’s wearing a mask, which results in a pretty awkward situation for him, and a pretty funny one for you. Killer will feel like an idiot, while you’re desperately trying not to burst out into laughter. The intention is there, the execution just isn’t all he intended it to be.

When he does remember to take off his mask though, he looks into your eyes as kisses your hand, making sure to always say something sweet before, as if to seal the words with a kiss. Women like stuff like that, right?

He can have the worst possible day, he can be getting angry or sad, it doesn’t matter. One kiss on his hand from you, and all of that is forgotten and his focus shifts completely to you and the smile you’re giving him.

 Heat:

Heat is usually a pretty hard to read person, but once your lips touch his hand for the first time, you’ll have no doubt what effect you’re having on this man. His cheeks will turn a little pink, and he’ll ask you what you’re doing. Once you’ve explained this is how you express yourself, he smiles a little and nods.

Over time, he’ll get over the blushing whenever you do it, but he always gets that tiny smile on his face whenever you do it. Despite the teasing of the crew, he finds your habit endearing and will not try to stop you. The feeling of being loved by you greatly outweighs the little embarrassment he feels from your action. Your habit genuinely makes him happy.

He won’t return the gesture, his lips aren’t really soft due to him breathing fire and it’s something he’s a little self-conscious about in your relationship, but he does like to grab your hand and just hold it. It’s something he’ll do a lot and sometimes unconsciously, and it really is his way of expressing his affection towards you. Sometimes, when it’s just the two of you, instead of taking your hand and just holding it, he’ll place it his chest, right over his heart. When he does this, he looks at you with the most loving expression.

Hi Anon! Of course you can, I love the idea ❤ This is actually my first time writing for Kid and Law, so I hope I did them justice. 

Law

You had been trying to get a hug from Law for a while, but he kept rejecting it, saying that he was too busy for your shenanigans. So when he actually gives in in the hope that you’ll leave him alone for a while and you break down, he feels like such an ass. You never cried, or at least not once since you boarded the sub, so he knew whatever was up was very bad.

He instantly wraps you in a tight hug, quietly whispering in your ear that it’s ok, that he’s got you, and that you’re safe. He also apologises to you for not hugging you earlier and eventually, when your sobbing calms down a bit, he asks you what’s wrong.

When he hears the stress has been building up on you, he feels terrible. He feels responsible as your captain, he should’ve known your limits. He feels inadequate as a doctor, he should’ve seen the symptoms, and he should have prevented them, instead of having to treat them now. But most of all he feels worthless as your boyfriend, because he’s the one that should know you best of all and he’s the one that should be there for you. Always. No exceptions. Certainly not something stupid as work.

All he can do after you tell him is hold you tight, apologise, and ask if there’s something he can do for you. He’s prepared to do anything for you, no matter what, as long as he can see you smiling again.

Even when you tell him that you’re fine again, Law will keep a close eye on you, regularly checking in and giving you a little less work.  He failed you once already, he’s not going to do it again. And you bet he’s never refusing you any hugs ever again.

 Kid

Kid freezes for a good few seconds. One of the things he likes so much about you is your strength, both physically and mentally. In fact, it’s what drew him to you. So seeing you cry shocks him to the point where he wonders if he’s dreaming.

When he realises this is real though, he panics a bit internally. What should he do? Do you want to be alone? Do you want him to talk? Do you want him to keep holding you? Will any of these make you mad, or even worse, sadder?

So in the end, he settles for continuing to hold you, tightening his hold a little bit before quietly asking you if you’re ok.

You tell him you got a reminder of a bad memory on the last island, and that you’ve been holding it back ever since. Kid continues to hold you, but he is boiling. He wishes you had told him earlier, so he could’ve destroyed whatever made you feel this way. He wants to know what this bad memory is, and he wants to destroy everything that might remind you of it.

But he won’t ask you for more details. He’ll listen if you give them willingly, but if you just want to hug him and cry, he will let you. This is a smart man, he knows how much pain talking to someone about a bad memory can bring. And even if he’s not always the best or most romantic boyfriend, he doesn’t want to hurt you. Ever.

He’ll kiss your hair and rock you back and forth a bit, not really knowing how to make you feel better, but this helps for a lot of people, right?

“Look, I’m here for you, ok? It’s ok if you’re sad, and it’s ok if you cry. I won’t look down on you for it. You can be weak with me.”

 Luffy

Luffy will instantly get worried when he sees you break, exactly because you’re usually so strong. You never cry, so this must be bad, right?

He’ll desperately want to help. When Luffy cares about someone he holds nothing back, so he wants to find the source of your sadness and take it away. He wants to destroy everything in this world that could ever make you sad, so you could always be happy. Sometimes however, that is just not possible.

When you tell him someone close to you has passed away, he instantly understands how you feel. He’s been there too, he knows how it feels. However, there is one difference between his situation and yours. You are not alone right now.

Luffy will pull you in a gentle but firm hug, trying to convey to you that he’s there for you, both physically and emotionally. To show you you’re not alone. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t let you grieve though. He’ll let you cry on his shoulder as much as you want. He knows he moved on pretty quickly because he had a goal to focus on, being getting stronger and going back to his crew, but he completely understands if you need more time.

He will have Sanji make your favourite comfort food, and have him make you your favourite drink. And Luffy will stick to you like glue.

Luffy understands nothing he says can make your sadness any less. Death is death and no words can ease the pain of losing a loved one. He’ll just silently stay by your side. If you want to talk, he’ll listen to you and talk with you. If you just want a hug, that’s just what he’ll do. If you want to be alone? Say the word. All Luffy wants is for you to let it all out.
