#etympunk

Etymidentity (EtymIDs) is an umbrella term for identities similar in vein to TransIDs/UnoraIDs. Coined mostly to fill in the ideological gap between the two.

The main thing that sets EtymIDs apart is that there's no specific reason/conditions for being EtymID, other than having a disconnect between one's TPI and SPII. (True Personal Identity, Socially Perceived And/Or Imposed Identity)

Completely pro-transition for oneself and others for any EtymIDs, outside of identities that are centered around nonconsensual harm, or ideologies that promote hate.

Made with those who don't want to label identity disconnects while having to fit certain reasons/disclaimers for being that identity, and don't like terms that label specific types of disconnects as inherently harmful/bigoted.

Generally, against labeling identities as inherently harmful and believes only actions and ideologies can be. Also, against labeling identities as "biological" or innate.

Idenpunk/Identity Punk (or Etympunk, for those who may use EtymIDs) is a punk subculture based around rejecting the social quo requirement of having to label one's identity as Cis/Trans/Tris and the general idea of being able to perceive someone else's identity without them telling you. Idenpunk is radically against profiling others based on their appearance!

Idenpunk is radically accepting of identities regardless of if someone "seems" like they're that identity or not! Generally rejecting the idea of being able to see someone's internal identity by looking at them. (Ex: Gender, Humanity, Profession, etc.)

This includes anyone who doesn't "look like" their identity, is unable to transition, doesn't desire to transition, has transitioned to as close to their identity as possible, and many more cases. This includes gender, orientation, race, age, whatever. Anything. You cannot tell anything about anyone just by looking at them.

Those who are Idenpunk may also extend this viewpoint towards others, and just innately view others as their identities, regardless of their cis/trans modifiers.

This was made with the TransID community in mind but is also inclusive to pretty much anyone who doesn't wish to disclose their transition status or where they are on the cis-trans dichotomy.

Idenpunk, of course, being a punk label is against any hateful behaviors or ideologies. Whether or not one is "actually" of that ideology. Idenpunk supports calling out hateful ideologies being used as aesthetics and talking points of those ideologies that can cause harm.

If you're wondering, EtymID is something I plan on coining in the near future that describes a disconnect between one's TPI and one's SPII. Just felt like including it on here even though I haven't started working on it yet. I just plan on making all the sublabels with it before I post it. Which is quite a few.

TPI: True Personal Identity.

SPII: Socially Perceived and/or Imposed Identity.

Anyways this is something I had in mind while I was writing out Radnonor, and was one of the main reasons I even coined Radnonor in the first place.
