it infuriates me a not small amount that a big issue of mine with transandrophobia is a language issue, primarily. i mean fuck i dont think i should have to say it but transmisogyny has suffixes and prefixes and roots that all mean specific things, for specific reasons. the lack of those reasons behind transandrophobia besides "it means u hate me for being a (transgender)man and/or societal issues caused by people hating (transgender)women {The basis of actual androphobia or mens rights activism!}" is why it's not a great term! the reason why it's being ommited from wikipedia pages! and until you can find me a reason that it's not just related to misogyny(trans or otherwise) transphobia is a great descriptor for that struggle!

and then you wanna tell me RADICAL FEMINISM, as in FEMINISM defined by RADICALISM, as in THE NOTION THAT SOCIETY MUST BE RESTRUCTURED, so RADICAL FEMINISM meaning that the SOCIETAL PLACE THAT MEN HAVE needs to be RADICALLY CHANGED, is inherently bioessentialist? you know, men, the social identity? because if it was possible to change the society, men would have to have a changeable social identity, not something immutable? or did you legitamitely believe that "kill all men" was the real, going strategy, and not a frustration at the men who currently exist in a position of power?

went on a lunch date and the guy asked about my siblings. i told him i have one biological brother and two adoptive sisters. he proceeded to ask how my and i brother met... as though he didn't know what 'biological' meant? and - from my request for him to elaborate - thought it was like, similar to adoption, I guess??

I'm 90% sure its a pr stunt for fanatics (he's an ambassador and she's very connected with the owner). And Apple also is connected with fanatics, hence why they're in the apple box. and that doesnt make the situation better. pr stunt or not, rumors true or not, the optics are still bad. it is still deeply contradictory for someone who has publicly and very clearly supported palestine to be associated with people and corporations whose names are tied to zionism. yeah historically lewis has always had problematic, conflicting choices, questionable proximity to certain people so part of me isnt surprised but there’s still something uniquely jarring about being forced to confront yet again, the reality that at the end of the day he is still a greedy man who will chase the bag even when it clashes with the values he claims to stand for.

it gets exhausting now because it’s cumulative. it’s not just this situation. there's the ai promotion, lulul*mon partnership, etc. it’s every contradiction stacked on top of the last one. like after last season's circus we welcomed this season with news like this oh give me some fucking break!!!
