they never split up omg even if they all wanna see different movies it’s not the same for them all to split into groups, so they’ll sit for hours arguing which movies to see until they finally settle on one. ALSO the losers are notorious movie hoppers, they’re those little jerks who try to sneak into other movies for free after theirs is over lol but of course it hardly works out for them because??? they’re at the movies every weekend, so the employees know them and they’re literally like? yall aint slick. They 70% of the time go to see comedy movies because it’s the one genre they can all fucking agree on, and hey they need to laugh (especially after that fucking cl*wn lmao) BECAUSE THEY ALSO HAVE VERY DIFFERENT TASTES IN MOVIES. Bill, Stan, Eddie, and Richie were used to constantly seeing action movies and comedy's before the other losers joined, but they all opened each other up to different genres so they’ll see a lil bit of everything.

All the rest of the histories: I haven’t read most of these tbh, and while I almost always enjoy his histories, I usually don’t enjoy them enough to bump the other plays off my favorites list.

Interestingly enough, I feel like a lot of times [in most fandoms, honestly] the G and light T fics tend to be really good and really underappreciated. I think most readers these days immediately swing to the higher ratings, because it suggests and bares darker tones, that usually fit in better with the universe they’re coming out of. Because, it can definitely be hard to grasp the tone of the movie/show/book and still fit it in a g-rating. But, with those higher ratings -- it can sometimes become all about sex, in fics that didn’t really start out with that intention. Not that there’s anything wrong with that and that change. Just that story can sometimes get lost in the pressure the writer feels to meet the rating that they initially supplied -- and some of those people who feel pressured to write in sex, aren’t even necessarily comfortable writing it [sometimes just because they’re embarrassed], and end up writing unsure. Whereas there isn’t any of that specific pressure when it comes to lower rated fics -- there isn’t that specific concern. It’s still hard, as basically all writing is. But, not trying to maneuver seamlessly between plot and sex can fuel more freedom in just showing and writing /scenes and /stories of the characters lives where one doesn’t have to try to find another adjective for Frank’s penis. [Even though I will read those adjectives, for sure.] But, basically, yeah I agree, there’s a lot of diamonds in G.

I have to say, this was my first. I took migraine medicine hours ago and it did absolutely nothing for me, and was driving me crazy. Thought about how I’ve been feeling so off and dead all day and how weird that was for me, and remembered.... oh, yeah, did a shit ton of magic stuff yesterday and that probably did it for me. I should probably take up doing some relaxing things after I do magic from now on.
