no--well, based on my time on JP twitter, they generally like pointing out official  side stories, goods, interviews and calling them “official” and in turn, making parodies of it through fanart--(think of the chocolate eren and levi beach poster “to tell them” about dates they go on)...but then again, it only goes as far as giggling about their own ship being canon in their own scope of the fandom. I feel like it’s accepted that if you ask them what ship is canon, they’ll just say their own (jokingly...I think)/or that no ship has been confirmed. 

Rambling on, I don’t think the word canon translates into well into japanese either,, just reminds me of a temple or camera lol.

And as far as interviews and secret exhibitions go, I haven’t seen any generally-accepted-by-whole-fandom-sort-of tweets to confirm ereri, eruri, levihan, eremika, erehisu, erumin, etc. Aruannie maybe bc of recent chapters..?
