- Charlotte. What can I say about her? She’s the sweetest, the most beautiful and kindest soul in the movie.

- In the Japanese version, she actually doesn’t give A SINGLE FUCK about her father. She mentions him only ONCE, when she says she can’t believe he really didn’t mention to D, one of the hunters he hired, that she was in love with Meier.

- That’s right, her family knew about her relationship with Meier and hired hunters to either bring her back by force or kill her. The hunters get the money in either case. WOW

- Her family is rich as fuck, but do you think she cares? NO. She gladly leaves her wealthy life to go with Meier beyond the stars, in a space city that has been abandoned for centuries.

- Her father compares her compassion and purity to that of the Holy Mary. While I agree that Charlotte is compassionate and kind as an angel, that girl IS THIRSTY AS FUCK FOR MEIER (as @eradne​ showed us)

- She sleeps in THE COFFIN WITH HIM DURING THEIR TRIP, WEARING ONLY A THIN-ASS NIGHTGOWN. YOU GO GIRL, LIVING THE BEST LIFE

- She feels bad for the villagers that Meier was forced to kill when they started shooting at them, but guess what? She doesn’t ever look back and she wants to stay with Meier no matter what. In the official VHD: Bloodlust interview on his website, director Kawajiri says that Charlotte is a strong character that is willing to do anything to achieve forbidden love and she never hesitates, no matter what one throws at her. He also says the reason Leila can’t forgive her at the start is because Charlotte and Meier are causing people to die, BUT THEY JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY

- SHE IS WILLING TO KILL HERSELF TO DIE WITH HIM WHEN HE’S BURNING ON THE BRIDGE, SURROUNDED BY HUNTERS
