Hi Ten! Guess what? I figured out how to run SimPE on Linux! You need to install dotnet 2.0 using the instructions on this page and set wine32 as the wine prefix for SimPE. Just for good measure, I added SimPE into Lutris using the method you described for Body Shop. It works now! Thanks ^_^

Also, I'm sorry that I left packrat inactive for around 3-ish months, I've been working (I managed to get two jobs - yay!) which leaves me with very little freetime. Don't worry though, I won't abandon packrat :-) it will just take a lot longer for me to reply to asks etc since I don't have as much freetime as I used to.

Hey everyone, I’ve been flip-flopping between a variety of gender identities lately but I think I’ve finally come to terms with who and what I am. I never felt comfortable being a girl (and even less so with being a woman as I grew older) and I never really felt nonbinary or genderfluid either, but I knew I definitely had a gender identity. Now I’m at a point in my life where I can actually accept and embrace it for what it is.
I’m male. I’m transgender. I’ve tried this before but always pulled back out of fear, because I associated masculinity with the abusive authority figures and peers I had at school. But now... things are different. Recently I’ve overcome a lot of my PTSD in the space of under a month, and I can see - thanks in no small part to the “VT is in love” tags I’ve been using lately - that not all guys are like that. Some of them are truly lovely, and that’s caused a massive shift in my worldview.
So, just so we’re clear on this: I’d like to be referred to as Quin and use he/him pronouns now. I’m debating changing my username, or at least starting a new blog and keeping this one as an archive or something. I’ve changed my url to equinoxts2 and I feel much better for it. Thanks to all my simblr friends overthe years for having my back!

Just thought you might like to know that I'm starting to dream about Foxfire - last night I dreamed that Hanna ran away from Chase and, for some reason, fell in love with a pirate at a coffee shop. There was sort of a daydream sequence where she was dancing with him while wearing a glittery blue dress. Then she wound up having to be saved from a secret illegal auction, and there was a car chase, and something about a cow.
By the way, this is all down to your awesome storytelling. It's an understatement to say I'm rooting for Hanna to get away from Chase!

Hanna would absolutely loooove to dance in a glittery blue dress. Your dream was pretty precognitive about Hanna getting away so maybe we'll see dresses and pirates eventually too 😁 I'm curious about the cow part though!

@speakinginsimlish- Thank you! It does take a long time to get a Medieval CC folder together. I do have one that is fairly organised, but I wasn't happy with the prices of some CC (like broken-looking beds that were more expensive than ornately carved ones). I'm currently re-downloading and rebuilding my entire medieval folder, and also repricing and re-categorising all CC as I add it to the game, and adding every item to collection folders as well. It's taking forever, but I'm hoping it will pay off!
@merluvlee-sims2- Thank you. I was really pleased with how Darkmont turned out, and I really love Earthdrift. I think Brittleshore will look fantastic once it has some lots as well!

@funderberkersims- Thank you! Skyrim is exactly the look I am going for with these 'hoods and this build, so I'm glad I pulled it off! I can't wait to build more lots for these 'hoods! Hopefully soon!
