I want to make some custom careers and default replacement careers so I followed Episims tutorial on creating default career templates. In case anyone wants to save time, I have uploaded the files for download. This includes all game careers including pet careers, teen/elder careers, adult careers, and the business owner career.

A spontaneous collab between @episims and me - a replacement for a pile of clothes that sims hold when buying new clothes or that appears in inventory after they sew an outfit.

As this mod is meant to work with Epi's Color Traits mod, the default color will be white. If you've given your sim a favourite color, the pile will appear in this color when they buy clothes. When sewing, the color of the clothes pile will be randomized for variety.

Instead of the usual Inventory Check, this mod requires Trait Globals mod by @picknmixsims to work properly so be sure to get it! With this method, if your sim has several favourite colors, the color is randomized between maximum the first three of them.

Mesh used for this default replacement is a clothes pile from Retail Therapy set by @syboubou (resized a little). Texture size is 512x256, polycount: 1780 polys.

Welcome to clutter addicts anonymous. We're here to help, by enabling your addiction. Oh you thought we'd try and fix you? Nah, there's no such thing as too much cluttering and me and my fellow addict @episims are here with a collab to bring you a set of much needed rotator OMSPs.

Perhaps you are familiar with Anoeska's object rotators, or you use the fway object rotators, or the SilentLucidity mega-set. They all have their uses, and their drawbacks. We feel there is room for one more set, that gives you more fine tune control without some of the annoyances.

The ground set will rotate objects around their center axis, in the same way we as players can but these give you the option of smaller degrees than the in game 45° and 90°. They come in 5 degree increments, for a total of 8. Items placed on them are still accessible to sims, though the animations may look wonky.

The wall set will rotate the item to the side, intended for wall items you may want to hang not quite straight. The SilentLucidity set has this, but the degree increases are large and they end up very wonky. Sometimes you want it just a little crooked, this set fills that niche. They come in 1 degree increments up to 9 degrees, for a total of 9.

Both sets come in clockwise and counter clockwise. They are perfectly level with the ground (UPDATE Nov 14th 2025: Has been raised 0.00001 above ground level, to make them easier to pick up. Download button below has the updated files), and will go on other OMSPs. They come in small and large size, like the classic purple set, for a total of 68 OMSPs. You can choose if you want them in the catalogue, or collection only.

This MP3 player default by Graverobber is one of the best ones available. I made some edits to it for my own game and thought I'd share.

The first thing I changed was texture size - it was lowered from 512x512 to 128x128 (trust me, you won't see a difference since it's so tiny). The original mp3 came with a big number of recolors. I only picked 12 of them to resize (from CuriousB's palette, already made by Graverobber) and to make them work with @episims color traits mod (be sure to get it if you want colors to be randomized upon purchase at the kiosk). But if you are not using it, there is a separated version with these 12 colors (keep either this one or traits support version!). Note that all others recolors originally made by Graverobber work perfectly fine, they are just bigger in size.

I also changed the default screen texture - the original was a bit too dull and had English text on it. Now it has lit up effect, animates longer and uses new textures with simlish "bands". All the textures for them were created by @gulioss-sims (these) @deedee-sims (these) and @fake-sims (these).

@episims was super kind to make the color traits coding which definitely makes this edit a million times better. Thank you Epi!

With this method, if your sim has several favourite colors, the 1st one in the line will be picked for your mp3. If you want to change the picked color, just sort out your inventory manually and put the desired color first. Note that after buying, in the inventory the mp3 will appear black in the icon but will switch to the correct color when a sim uses it. If the mp3 is moved out of the inventory, it'll be in the default color (black). Traits version works well with catalog buyable mp3 mods (again, the color will update when used).

To prevent an annoying bug in maxis coding ("stealing" of your sim's mp3 by another household member), I highly recommend using this mp3 fix mod by Simler90.
