Concerning the powers behind Eponea's Claspect, I agree with Sineth's initial take, also add that they are protected from the ill effects of their aspect.  Which'll be interesting if Godtier!Pathos (who is a Thief of Void) ever tries to use them on her to find his effort all for naught.  One of the things about Mage classes is that they completely understand how their aspect works as well, so Eponea (if she ever pursues it) could potentially have a one up on other Void players like Pathos on being able to know how things tick.  In essence, it's like the difference between Rogue from X-men who can steal powers with tactile means, and Sylar from Heroes in that he understands how powers work and uses them to his advantage.  In this case, Eponea uses this knowledge to protect herself as well as her allies (x). Since her aspect is also the Void, it is worth noting that the wiki states:

that the Mage class could be the passive (+) counterpart to the Witch class and can mean "one who manipulates with or through the use of [aspect]", or "one who is manipulated by [aspect]"

You turn off your computer for a while and glance at your surroundings.  Decorating your drab walls are several gaming posters you've collected in the last few sweeps.  Tucked in a corner near your station are some unsorted game grubs that you have a habit of not putting away.  At least you won't trip over them. As decorated as your respiteblock is, it's unfortunately also riddled with cracks and holes from the many times you've decided to play with your crossbow (and fail miserably). Your recuperacoon sits in the corner, mostly unused since you don't usually sleep very often since you stay up playing games on your computer so much.  Sometimes you decide to just hop in and wait for sleep to come, but more often than not you end up making a few more holes with your crossbow and your shitty aim. Speaking of which, you probably should put that thing somewhere else.  You can risk wrecking the walls, but you'd rather not have a gaping hole in the recuperacoon.
