He needs that deal so bad and I am sure he's doing anything to get it.

He could be really some supernatural being who's pulling energy out of blood deals or certain human emotions he toys with. That's why he's so desperate to make everyone want to make a deal with him. Sure he could always need some deals to secure his scheme and influence but things that lean towards the supernatural:

he healed little Janes foot injurie with just some pressure and they added a magical sound effect to it

same with big Janes migraine (sign he loses energy?)

when he led little Jane to the side of the dance room to flirt with him and heal his foot nobody paid attention to them as if they were made invisible (except for the other guy who most likely also has a contract with him)

the whole time he's with little Jane, little Jane's skills and luck increase. even small things like dancing and playing piano for example. it's like he's giving him little trials for what's possible and how good it feels

the moment they had the argument and separated for a few days little Jane only experienced bad luck and almost got beaten up

his hypno stare he inflicts on people

his weird blood packt thing with the needle?? if he's not a demon then that's very questionable (or he holds their DNA hostage he could plant on crime scenes)

he has the ability to disappear within a second

he seems to have very good hearing, because he always hears what people try to quietly talk privately or gossip, even if it's a whole room apart

he really appears always at the best or worst moments as if he knows when to be there

him joking that he's also good at magic tricks

it seems like everyone who he has a deal with first gets what they wish for but then it flips over to the worst outcome. maybe that is what he actually wants and thrives from?

This could also all be master level manipulation of course. To make people believe that he's kind of supernatural to gain more respect and fear. But the magic sounds are only for the audience 🤔 and that migraine moment didn't get him anything if he faked that, which didn't look fake imo.

But I do fear that he was behind the hammer attack in the club just to fuck little Jane up enough and then play his savior. Regardless if he did that via human powers or magical powers. But he could also have put a bad fate spell on him for the separation days and that moment it got out of hand so he had to step in.

Also my impression from the trailer(s) was that everyone calls him demon because of the fucked up stuff he does. Then little Jane finds out, no he's just a manipulative psychopath human. But after that might come the actual demon reveal.
