I hate to keep making these post but the last didnt get any traction and we still need $500 for rent by November 7th or we're being evicted. My roommate found a job after a summer of searching and applying, but between gas and food prices, October depleted what little savings we had left. We just need to hold on until our next paychecks come in but we need money to stay housed asap. If you can- any little bit would help us out. 💔💔

I do know what it’s like, but do know I think you’re an amazing person and I love you! (I also apologize Doffy and Law’s turned a bit melancholy due to me overthinking their reactions when family is involved-) 💕💕

He knows first hand what it’s like to not have family agree with you on things, or be a disappointment to some. When you confess to him how you feel, especially on such a matter regarding family, he seems more softer than usual, calling you over to sit on his lap. 

As you got comfortable, a hand found its place in your hair as he tells you a story of a young boy who hated his father, who shot him down as his younger brother cried pathetically, how he left with the severed head and was yet again rejected by “family”. Though it’s not the nicest of stories, his calm voice helps lull you to sleep.

Once he hears your breathing dip into a slow pace he stops talking, the unusual quietness even confused him. Thinking back on his time with his biological family, it really was only bitter times. The hand in your hair never stopped it’s movements as he contemplated his own life, he decided since he was here now with you and his newfound family it was the right choice.

Though you were fast asleep in his lap, he let out a whispered demand, knowing somewhere deep in your unconscious mind, you can hear him. “Never regret the choices you made, regardless what “family” may think of you.”

Tw: Childhood Neglect

Lately it's just hit me hard how emotionally neglectful my family is. And now I just feel really alone in the world and scared. I've been conditioned to think, I shouldn't stand up for myself (I still do, thankfully because of a rebellious spirit) and has left me with a complex saying sorry for everything. I have to explain what's going on to my siblings and they viciously mock me for it. One parent is complicit in this arrangement, and the other a boundary steamroller. I try to do something but I get proverbially shot everytime I try. I just feel so alone, hurt, forgotten, guilty and above all helpless.

Anyways maybe some comfort from Kaeya and/or Zhongli?

No I completely understand. One of my parents is a chronic guilt tripper and hyper aggressive manipulator.

So I 100% get why you feel that way. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on I'm here for you, yea? I promise I'll listen of you ever need to vent about it. I'm sorry you have to go through that, truly.

TW: Neglect, Abuse Mention

I’m gonna treat this as an emergency ask. i don’t have a lot of experience with mental breakdowns, so I hope I rep this right.

Shouto is probably the best person when it comes to stuff like this. 

He may be brash and impulsive at times, but Shouto has learned a lot of patience over the years. He isn’t really the vocal type, but moreso the quiet comforter. He will ground you with his touch, but if you need his voice, Shouto will not hesitate to speak to you softly and gently coax you back to earth. 

Shouto will probably try to get you to do breathing exercises, telling you that it’s okay and to breathe and to come back to him because he hates seeing you like this and wants to help you the best he can. If you can, tell him what you need and he will help you.

However, if you’re so far down in that rabbit hole that you can’t speak, then Shouto will most likely gather you up in his arms and rub your back, gently soothing you. 

“It is alright, my love. Just breathe. I’m here. Focus on me, love.”

Will probably run his fingers through your hair and use his quirk on you slightly. Are you feeling overheated and hot? He’ll gently cool you down. Are you feeling cold and can feel your heart pounding in panic? He’ll gently warm you up, keeping you pressed to him as he heats up and holds you tightly. 

You must forgive him if he has no idea what else to do, however. The only time he’s experienced anybody having a breakdown before him was his mother (and we all know how THAT went) so he doesn’t really know what to do other than treat it as a panic/anxiety attack (because he DOES have experience with those). 

Awww!! That completely sucks!! I haven’t really been alone in your situation, like where my family is off in an entirely different country, but being lonely SUCKS!! 

On another note, I want to write as much as I can now because I have a 4-hour shift at work soon and I really don’t want to make you wait til later tonight to read this.

Also, don’t worry about it not being a ‘good distraction’, because pretty much anything helps at this point. 😊

Okay so, um…I might be a tad selfish and make the Eijiro thing with Takara and Izuku with you. I’m so so sorry! I know you wanted a hug from both boys and I will still do that, but I just would really like a hug from my Boi myself right now, so…

I feel really bad, but I’ll still give you an Eijiro hug because those are the BOMB!! 😂🤣

“Hey, Y/N...are you okay?” The question wasn’t surprising, even if you literally just walked into the classroom. Of course Izuku would notice that something was off. That boy was far too observant sometimes. Eijiro was beside Izuku, having been talking with both the green-haired boy and Takara, whom he was two weeks into a relationship with. As such, he had his arm around Takara’s waist. You couldn’t help feeling a tad jealous but you quickly stomped it down. You weren’t looking for a romantic relationship anyway. It was fine, even if it still made that green beast rear up inside you every now and again. 

“Well...” Not many people were here yet, and those that weren’t part of the trio closest to the door were engrossed in their own conversations, so it was okay. “You see, my family was visiting from across Japan, but they had to go home yesterday, and I’m alone again. I’m staying with family friends, but it’s not the same, you know?” Instantly, Izuku is hugging you in a moment of boldness. 

“Y/N, I’m so sorry.” He murmurs. “I know a bit of what that’s like. My dad’s constantly gone for work stuff and I don’t get to see him that much. It hurts sometimes...” You blink back sudden tears. It was harder than you thought, being alone again. Their brief visit was too short. You wanted them to stay longer. Eijiro walks over as you squeeze Izuku back, relishing the warmth and strength of his arms and the feel of his toned chest against you. 

“Thanks, Izuku,” you mumble, burying your face in his chest on instinct. You look up, however, when you feel Eijiro’s hand on your shoulder. 

“If you need anything, just let me or Takara know, okay?” You nod, smiling gratefully at them. You felt a little better knowing your friends were there for you, but couldn’t help still feeling a little lonely. 

“Yeah. Whatever you need, or if you just need to talk, that’s alright by me, too.” Takara adds, coming back to her boyfriend’s side. You let go of Izuku and go to hug your friends. 

“You’re both so sweet!” You cry as their arms wrap around you. It didn’t feel quite the same as an Izuku hug, but it was close enough. You appreciated the fact that you had such dependable friends whenever you needed them. 

Eijiro walked into the dorms to find Takara on the couch, wrapped in a blanket and looking miserable. He walks over, concerned. “Babe, you okay?” He asks. She sighs and turns her head to look at Eijiro. 

“No...my body hates me.” She groans. Eijiro’s face flushes. He knew exactly what was happening. 

“O-oh...anything I can do?” She shakes her head. 

“No. I already took pain medicine and stuff. I just want to lay here and do nothing all day.” Luckily, it was a Saturday and Eijiro saw little problem in squeezing down beside his girlfriend, burrowing into the blanket with her as she squirms to make room, laughing. “Eiji, what are you doing?” She asks. He bops her nose. 

“I’m helping my girlfriend through her rough day.” He says cheerily. She hugs him, laying back down and getting comfortable as Eijiro grabs the remote to turn the TV on. “Now...what do you wanna watch?” 

Midoriya couldn’t bear to see you unhappy, so he stole you away from the rest of the world, bringing you to that quiet place on the hill, a wicker basket filled with your favorite foods hanging from his arm and love in his eyes. 

Tired from a day of playing, you sat on the checkered blanket Izuku had laid down, watching the sun set until a handful of stars dotted the sky. The only sound you could hear was the reassuring flutter of Izuku’s breaths as your head rested comfortably on his shoulder. His hand was wrapped tightly around yours, and the shy flush that covered his skin left a lingering warmth around your fingers.

“Did you have fun today?” Izuku asked softly, softly, as if he were afraid to disturb the delicate atmosphere in the air, his heart skipping a beat as his thumb traced the knotty curve of your knuckles.

He was rewarded with the most beautiful view as you tilted your head to meet his eyes, the night sky reflected in your pupils and a small smile on your face. It was a fragile tilt of your pink lips, but Izuku had missed it severely. Each one of your expressions was dear to him, but the two of you worked in unison, so when you were sad or tired or stressed, so was he. 

“Yes…” You chuckled, feeling his hair tickle your cheek, “Thank you. I kind of needed…to take a break from everything for a little bit.” In truth, you hadn’t been feeling too great lately, the thought of worrying your sweet boyfriend only adding to the already hefty burden you carried on your back. 

’Yeah, I noticed.’ Izuku thought, his brows furrowing in a worried expression. Of course he noticed, when it came to you Izuku was more alert than a man running through a minefield.

“Do you want to talk about it?” He couldn’t keep the apprehension out of his voice, his heart breaking at the distressed look that flashed across your face; an imperceptible change other people would have missed, but not him.

He gently raised his head, momentarily ignoring the look of confusion that lit up your pretty features to gently grasp your hands, bringing them to his lips as if he was making a vow, that intense, determined look you loved coloring his youthful face.

“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to…” His thumb gently brushed an arch across your wrist, eclipsed emerald eyes boring into yours as he slowly pondered what he wanted to convey, “Just know…that I’m here for you, okay? And I’ll be here whether you want to sit in silence or talk about painful feelings.”

“I just—” Your eyes began to heat up with the familiar blur of tears. Even if you wanted to, how could you even begin to explain all those bittersweet emotions that made your chest feel like it was being crushed? All the horrible thoughts in your head? How could you give value to the frightening, intangible monster you carried around every day as if it were chained to your ankle? You weren’t sure you could open your mouth without sounding stupid. “I don’t want it to feel like I’m complaining…”

“You wouldn’t be,” Izuku’s grip on you tightened just enough for his warmth to pull you from the inky-black darkness that tried to swallow you, “Your feelings are not meaningless. They’re precious, the most precious in the world to me…” He rested his forehead against yours, the smell of citrus in his hair blanketing your senses, “Whenever you start doubting that, I’ll bring you here and we’ll watch the fireflies and the stars, and it will feel like we’re the only ones in the world. That way, don’t you think even this melancholic feeling will ease a little? Like when I look at you and my chest gets filled with so much love I forget all about being sad…”

As you languidly looked up at him, Izuku’s cheeks grew so red you could see them even in the crisp darkness of a late evening.

“I want to support you,” He wanted to be there for you like you had for him, your tender encouragement pushing him to be a better person and a better hero, “B-because I love you…” His eyes slid shut, his grip on your hands nervous but tight as he kissed you under the watchful eye of the million stars above you.

so unless he was told you’re mute upon meeting him, he’s probably gonna assume one of two things

you’re either just super quiet and shy

or you freakin’ hate his guts

either way, he’s awkward and tries really hard to talk to you and just continues to embarrass himself when you obvs don’t respond verbally

Keith, probably: Why doesn’t she like me? What did I do? Do I stink? OH GOD I STINK!

But it all works out in the end and Keith is like, the sweetest, probably a bit overprotective, boyfriend

he’s a bit slow with signing, but he’s gonna learn it!!!! >:O

he practices whenever he can. catch this boy walking down the hallway with you, just chatting up a storm while while signing. making you laugh when he reeeeally messes one up

actually talks a bit more with you than he does anyone else. probably because he’s so comfortable around you and also you won’t make fun of him

obvs you can make fun of him while signing but unless he’s looking directly at you he might not know

jk he’s always looking at you. he’s super attentive.

but he also loves that he can sit in absolute silence with you
