Hey, y'all. I did a tutorial on a relatively easy and cheap process for making armor with a tree/wood texture, in case anyone's keen to do a green knight costume or something elfy/woodsy fantasy or medieval groot or a suit of cottagecore armor anything in that vein. Hope it's helpful!

The Eregion armor was one of the first if not THE first costume in ROP that I fell in love with but I would probably have pushed it further back on the list if Charles Edwards hadn’t been invited to @magiccon_de. That was the excuse and motivation that I needed to make this costume.
You’ve already seen my new cosplay on the first photo that I took with Charles Edwards last Friday, but here is a better view. Elemmireofaman took a couple of photos on a path next to the convention hotel and here’s the first one. This must be one of the fastest builds I’ve done, surprising even to me because it was quite challenging with the cut-out parts in the armor. But I worked on it only the weekend of the Maker Faire and then again between the 15th and 25th, though not every day… so, maybe 10-11 days in total.
I absolutely love how it turned out and it’s the most comfortable worbla armor I’ve ever built. No idea how and why, but it’s completely comfy compared to all others, even with the helmet. :D
I will definitely wear it again for a photoshoot and I plan on making a few adjustments (like the collar part of the armor) but I’m very happy about how it turned out.
