I don't mean to be overly critical of your stories, and I do like them (a lot!) but I felt the usage of senpai was a little excessive in chapter 3? Or are you just establishing that Ookami is a sub? Idk anymore xD
Well, it’s based on the way Ookami refers to both Haida and Retsuko in the Japanese version (References: Episode 7 of the Netflix show, and episode 32 of the mini-eps)
He does call them (Name)-Senpai, or just Senpai alone. He never calls them by their name alone.
So it’s not really a “Notice me Senpai!” meme thing, it’s an actual thing that happens in the show, and I wanted to keep it because that’s how I picture him talking to them :’)
When he’ll talk to/about Retsuko, he’ll also refer to her as Retsuko-Senpai.
